DS is finally crawling!!

It's taken Colin a while...10 1/2 months...but he's finally crawling!! WooHoo!! On Mother's day I found him sitting up in his crib for the fist time, so after that we figured actual crawling would come soon. He's been scooting around for months, but never figured out how to actually crawl until a day or two ago. I took these pictures this morning...and please excuse the plain white onesie...I haven't dressed him for the day yet.

Go Colin!!!! Both my kids crawled later and they are just fine! Actually, my daughter never really crawled. She went from a belly slither crawl straight to walking. I think her belly was too big to pull up off the ground!

He is a gorgeous child. Now he will be in all of your cabinets. I love it when they start rocking back and forth on their hands and knees with their bottom in the air. It is just too cute!

Oh! I see you've got wood floors. We have that too in certain parts of the house so we bought E some baby knee pads for when he was learning to crawl. His little knees would get so red!

They look kind of silly but we only used them around the house.

My co-workers son just started walking...the whole family was watching TV in the living room...he crawled over to his chair, climbed into it...sat for about 10 minutes, then stood up and walked over to his mom.

My coworker actually didn't notice he was actually walking for like 30 seconds (second child here)

so be alert! heheh

Soo cute my first DD went straight to walking round furniture at 8 months.... She is stil a daredevil at 8 years old other younger DD however is still nervous at new things such as riding a bike - any tips ?

Now that he is mobile, life as you knew it is OVER!!!! My son never crawled. He would sit, and if the toy or what ever he wanted was out of his reach, that was fine with him. Then one day, he started walking. Never crawled.

BABY KNEE PADS?!? Is there anything they don't make for babies? Or better yet is there anything we won't buy? I most be the only one that finds some of these products funny.

Colin has his daddy's eyes....not that i'm biased. Actually he got all the good stuff from his daddy.

How would you like to crawl around on your knees on a hard floor all day long with no padding? Ouch!

um yeah - speaking of running...why do kids run EVERYWHERE!! I never see kids walk - they RUN.

Imagine if we (as adults) ran every where?
