We always make use of the drying string in the bathroom. It works very well for us.
On a side note, I am irritated by those who bring their beach towels from home and hang them over the common walkways/railings. We stay at POR and last summer I saw more towels hanging around than I did people. It breaks up the atmosphere in a blah way.

He can feel free to pull them down while I am there! Maybe he could get rid of the chairs people pull onto the walkways and take their empty beer bottles away too.
Can you tell we saw a lot yuckiness last summer.....
I also don't care for that scene either. Towels are one thing but I don't want others seeing my personal articles of clothing. Reminds me of last year when I went outside to enjoy the view from my balcony and what did I notice on the balcony below me to my left. Two room chairs propped on top of each other, guess she needed the height, and about 10 small hangers with bras and panties hanging from them. I have 2 teenage boys and it's not something I wanted them to see. There weren't plain and ordinary either if you know what I mean ladies....
Be careful hanging them out on the balcony --especially at the Poly! A friend of mine hung her suit top on the balcony chair--and two birds took off with it! I guess they thought it would make a great dual nest!!! No kidding, we all saw them fly off with it. We even called housekeeping/grounds to ask them to be on the lookout for it. We never got it back. Somewhere out there, there are some adult birds who began life with a very, very cushy surroundings--courtesy of my friend.
