what do you do with wet swimwear every day.does it dry off in your room quickly or do you rinse and let it dry overnight :laundy: and use different swimwear next day.:surfweb:

I always rinse my suit as soon as I'm done using it. Then, it gets hung up in the bathroom. I always have at least two suits with me in the hot months, just to be on the safe side.

I pack about a dozen clothespins so that I can hang them from the hangers to dry. If I don't use the clothespins for them, then they are used on the bags of potato chips

We just take one suit per person, rinse it and hang it on the drying string in the tub area. It dries pretty good and if it still a little damp the next day it is just an eye opener when you put it on (tends to get a little cold as it dries). Plus you are going to the pool so it doesn't need to be 100% dry right?

I rinse it and hang it over the tub to dry.

After wearing a long time (or two short mornings - half hour each), I wash it out in the sink. Tide sells these teeny tiny little packets of travel detergent that work out just peachy.

You can also send your suit out to be cleaned. I work hard finding the right suit and am not about to entrust it to Disney. :)

ETA: I take two suits. Don't think it would matter if I put on a damp one, just don't like that feeling.

Also - if you pull the stringy thing across the shower and drape the suit over that and the rod, the suit dries faster.

I pack about 3 suits for each of us (me, DD, & DS. DH packs his own.)

I like us to wear a lot of different suits so our pictures don't all look the same! A little anal I know!!

They all drip-dry in the bathroom.

They take up such little space in suitcase we take 2 each. That way we always have one thats rinsed & dryed. :laundy:

As soon as we're done swimming I just rinse them all in the sink and I too bring clothespins with me and just hang them from the line in the shower.

I bring about 6 Land's End pieces, so I'm mixing and matching all week, DH brings 2, and the kids probably 3 each.

I too rinse them out and set them out on the chair on a balcony or in the bathroom.

You should always rinse your suit out, the cholorine ruins the elastic in them. With those Land End pieces costing over $50 each, you can bet that they get treated like gold :lmao:

I lay them over the air conditioner -- and to resolve the "it's cold" feeling, I hang them in the bathroom the next morning while I'm in the shower and they warm up!

I hang them on the string that stretches across the shower. We must be the exception but I bring 4 suits, DH brings 2, ds brings 6 and dd's bring about 10! We have an inground pool at home so they spend most of their summer in their bathing suits!

Our family brings two sets of swimwear. That way we always have a dry one on hand. I also hang my across the line that is provided above the bath tub. I also hate the feeling of a wet swimsuit, and a wet swimsuit is a lot harder to put on; especially for us women. ;)

We each bring 2 suits and if our balcony has chairs, we leave them out there to dry :thumbsup2 If it doesn't have a full balcony/chairs, then we drape them over the back of the desk chair or hang them in the bathroom.

I always bring at least two(if not more) and wash them in the sink and then dry them on the shower string.

Be careful hanging them out on the balcony --especially at the Poly! A friend of mine hung her suit top on the balcony chair--and two birds took off with it! I guess they thought it would make a great dual nest!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: No kidding, we all saw them fly off with it. We even called housekeeping/grounds to ask them to be on the lookout for it. We never got it back. Somewhere out there, there are some adult birds who began life with a very, very cushy surroundings--courtesy of my friend.:goodvibes

LOL!

We bring multiple suits so I can rinse and dry out one while we wear the other.

I bring 1 suit but DH and DD's bring several. DH wears swim shorts to the parks with t-shirts and DD's (17 & 9) wear swimsuits under their clothes. If they get wet on the water rides or run through the sprinklers all you see under their clothes are swim suits. Works well for us. They also each have a suit or two just for swimming. We just hang them to dry.
