Drying panties

I will not pack dirty undies so while I was showering earlier I washed them so they could be packed. Now they're sitting on the a/c drying. Am I the only one that won't pack dirty panties?

I wouldn't pack them to GO on vacation, but I have no problem packing dirty stuff coming home!

I don't know anyone who packs dirty clothes of any sort for a vacation/trip.

On the way home it's different though. I just make a laundry bag when I'm away and then when I get home that stuff all goes straight into the wash.

They were clean when I left home. But I'm not returning home yet. I'm heading from Wisconsin to Michigan for a week before I head back to WV. Of course they'll be properly washed when I get home, but the thought of my luggage being searched with dirty panties makes me feel icky.

and this is why I do laundry on vacation. Dirty clothes go in a special bag and I try not to put them in the suitcase unless I absolutely have to.

I will not put any dirty clothes in my suitcase if I can help it!! I try to do laundry the night before we are coming home so I don't have to put the dirty clothes in my suitcase, It just grosses me to think of dirty clothes in there....

I put dirty socks and underwear in a plastic bag. But, since they've been doing all the luggage checks, I've been packing the undies in plastic bags anyway.

I only bring dirty panties home. Why not put them in a ziploc bag?

Actually my family mingles dirty clothes. We all throw them in once suitcase so we can pack the clean stuff and souvenirs together. I don't care if the man at the airport see's my dirty undies. I am sure there are far more interesting things for him to see. I've seen some of those stories about "vibrating luggage."

I figure if somebody wants to steal my dirty clothes, they deserve to touch dirty undies. All of the inspectors I've seen are wearing latex or vinyl gloves. I should object to the fact that they don't change gloves between bags. I pack my clean clothes in plastic bags, like the vacuum travel bags, and the dirty clothes go in plain old trash or plastic grocery bags. That way nobody's dirty hands touch my clean clothes.

I've seen some of those stories about "vibrating luggage."

Thats why you take the batteries out before you pack them, or so I've heard.

Now that our family is getting bigger and we always take multiple suitcases, even for a weekend trip, we just devote an entire suitcase to dirty clothes on the way home. I used to have an elaborate system so that the dirty clothes didn't touch the clean clothes.
