Dryer question...

Does it matter if the light goes out in the dryer? That's not a sign that something else is wrong or anything is it? I can handle putting the clothes in in the dark - I just don't want any other safety problems.

I don't think so....ours has been out for over a year, I just haven't replaced the bulb.

It means you need to replace the bulb, just like when a lamp goes out.

It means you have to go out and buy that new fancy Electrolux steam model. 18 minutes to dry an entire load!!!!

At least that's what I'm telling DH.
But I believe I'll just be doing some laundry in the dark until I can find a bulb too.

Sounds like you just need a new light bulb! Your best bet is to replace it. If the light doesn't go on after that, then you might have something else wrong that should be checked out.
