Dropping and Adding DDP

Has anyone dropped their dining plan after their ressies are made then added it back on before their trip? Will this automatically cancel your dining reservations?

I originally had it on my package when I booked, but as I got to the 44 day mark I realized I couldn't pay the balance, so I dropped the dining plan. It was a $50 fee I believe. If you do it greater than 45 days out, you don't get charged. I just added it back on last week, and did not get charged anything to add it back on, but you do have to pay it at the time if you have less than 45 days till your trip. And no, I don't think it cancels your dining reservations.

Your restaurant reservations don't have anything to do with whether or not you're on the dining plan - the plan is just how you decided to pay for it. If you drop the plan, it just means that you should have another way to pay for your meals, not that you don't intend to eat, so no, they don't cancel your dining reservations if you drop the dining plan.
