For those on the east coast driving to Maine for any flights to Florida, do be careful!

I went to Portland for flights to MCO this past week and both on the way down and the way back ... there were PLENTY of state troopers with vehicles pulled over and at least two speed traps were set up collecting large numbers of speeders.

Drive with caution and keep the speed limit. And you'll be fine!

Thanks for the info.
Glad to know they are working to try to keep the roads safe!

Slightly off-topic, CanadianGuy, can offer a rough idea of how long it took you to drive down? I'm getting a wide variety of times using different online maps/directions and would just like a few others to confuse myself even more! :rolleyes1

We are off on Monday morning and I don't want any fines! That would take away from my Disney spending....would not do!:rotfl:

From Fredericton.. Portland Maine took about 5.5 hours following the Trans Canada to Route 95 in Woodstock and then across the border and down the US I-95 to Gardiner where I then switched to I-295 to Portland. (This shaves off about 20 minutes)

Hope this helps!
