Driving from Ontario, Canada... Where to stay overnight

Emteach, I live in Hamilton and always take the 95 route, We like to stop in rockhill, South Carolina its about 12-14 hrs then a 8 hr sprint the next day.We are leaving on April 22, and have booked a room at the howard johnsons in Rockhill and it was a room sale , it cost something like 62.00, never had any problems with Hojos.

I had heard from a friend about this same location when they drive to Disney (and 62 a night is a great deal as well). Thanks for the tip... PS TiCat fan

We leave May 27 2013 from Bowmanville Ontario. We are leaving at 4am and stopping in Savannh GA around 9pm. Then a short drive to Disney in the morning

Hi there,
We are headed to Orlando in July and are seriously considering driving and are looking on where is a good (and inexpensive) place to stay overnight. We are located just west of Toronto and would probably leave early morning and drive until 9pm (with of course gas, washroom and brief food breaks). Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

My parents are near Boca Raton and we have driven the last couple of years during Winter Break. I am in the GTA and we left around 6:30 am on a Saturday and Made it to Rockville, SC. There are lots of hotel choices there. We stayed at the Comfort Suites Rock Hill which was very nice.
