Looks like you got what you wanted even though you had to change plans!

Yeah I keep hearing that Wilderness Lode is not as great as it used to be, but I want to brig Damien the the marshmellow roast and I want to see the water parade from the beach anyway, so I figure that I'll eat there!
My favorite Disney Character is winie the pooh and to me, the food's a bonus!

ha ha I do love to eat and it's good to give Monk some time to himself!

I actually want Cape May but I can't find a place to sneak it in.... I LOVE seafood, but DH had asked us to try new things and living on Long Island we get to eat seafood quit often!

You have this day and everything? How did I miss that? Yeah DH is not to crazy about italian food and well I love italian food and I'm worried that with the syfy Damien wouldn't sit still because he just never sits still! I wish that 50's did a F! package- me and Damien laugh that his dad who HATES green beans would be put in a corner and no dessert!
Yes we did get most of what we wanted and I even got to add CP because I took away Ohana (which I am debting bringing back because that's the day we have to be in Georgia by 5pm and I don't want to hurry through a breakfast and checkout and then DTD I won't be able to enjoy myself and really look around rotfl2:although my pocketbook might enjoy the DTD rushing)

Yes I am REALLY MAD about my car! I can't believe that they didn't even leave a note and in the video you see the passenger of the vehicle (which is a women with a weddig ring talking to Damien and I at one point) paying with a CC--- but they can't find out her iformation from her credit card because it's a violation of her rights especially because she was not the driver!!!! Makes me a little mad because in NY we have these traffic cameras that take your picture if you do ANYTHING wrong (I was at a red light and there is no, no turn on red sign so I kept going and I got a ticket because you have to come to a complete stop- isn't that a violation of my rights?)? UGH.... anyway the insurance company is pretty good and got the car towed to a shop today and I'm waiting for the estimate and such- I don't think that we will be going back upstate in Sept like we had hoped, but hey at least we are still going to be going to Disney

That totally stinks about your car! That's great though that they got it on tape and can get the people! My neighbor ran into the back of my van a few months ago and I hated that we had to pay the deductable first and wait to be reimbursed by her insurance.

The canoe pictures are great! You are brave! I would be afraid that after an hour or so one of my kids would try and jump out, especially Sam my ADHD kid

Your ADRs look good, Whispering Canyon is one place that I would love to visit but can never find the right time. Also Boma I think you guys will love!

I hope that they get the people and as far as the reimbursement I'm not so worried- maybe it will come at Christmas for more gifts to give, maybe at tax season so that I can put it into the house or maybe this time next year and I can put it to another Disney trip! You have to always look for the good!
I am the opposite of brave, I am actually what they would consider a chicken in some parts of the country when it comes to my son and water- he thinks that he can swim and so he jumps into the deepest part and drowns with grace really! So I was really worried, but he took a nap and then woke up and asked to paddle so we honestly let the kids paddle and we had snacks in the boat that they had to put together themselves to eat (like carrots and ranch, almond butter and celery with raisins and so on) so that took them about 20 minutes to get full and we had bread to feed to the ducks! You should try it if you ever get the chance you may both enjoy it! Plus we had told them that if everyone was good at the end they can play in the water for a little while!

I am hoping that we love Boma I'm picking it because everyone raves about it!

Just browsing all over the DIS boards today and found a thread on decorating your room and all of these pictures that people did to decorate! I really want to try that! Does anyone know if all vaues have 2 windows? And what is the door made of? I want to put a page and marker on the door to let people that pass by write us a note- not sure how many we will get, but hey you never know until you try! Maybe if we have 2 windows I will decorate one with Christmas and one with Damien's birthday stuff- although we aren't going to be there at that date anymore we are still celebrating it because this is in place of a party for him!


On the note of the car they towed it and said that they are going to replace the 2 driver doors and the wheel rod (it was crocked from being pushed up onto the curb) but I was told that we are going to have another key for that side of the door???? I can barely keep track of one key- how many times I lock those things in the car! And on my car only the driver side has a keyhole and I have to keep the old key because there is a chip in my key that I have to have the remote and key in the same vicinity to start my car so I can't just keep one key and remote! I can pay out of pocket for them to put the same key in the ignition, but that's really costly so it's out of the question! And as far as finding the guy the cops told me that at this point it's "unsolvable" because witnesses usually come forward within 1-2 days and after that they don't really get any and without witnesses it's impossible to solve. Well I am stubborn as anyone and can't accept that I am losing $500 (that I could easily spend in or on Disney or upstate for a before school trip) and that my insurance is going to go up because NY has the no fault law and they have to put fault on someone. So K and I went to a store that we frequent a few doors down from the deli and asked to see the cameras (really nice owner) let us and we see that the truck paused just beyond the trees (so if I were in the parking lot I couldn't see him) after he hit me, got out and check the damage on his camper, then gets back in and drives around to pass the parking lot (and pick up his wife from the deli) with my car and you see me while he's driving past to pick up his wife freaking out about my car!!!!! That really annoys me because you see me and Damien and on the other side of the parking lot (yes he can see me) he's getting his wife in the truck and proceeds to go toward the same neighborhood I live in. Now tomorrow since DH is off we are going to go to a few other stores to see if we can kinda narrow the search of where to look for this truck because I cannot accept this! It's downright wrong and so ugh I don't even know! So please wish me luck! I have to do the work of the detective (who at one point had tried to explain to me that this is not a big deal because they have far worse things that happen- like the young 24 year old mom that was hit and the driver kept going at 2:30 in the morning I think it was, she died and they can't find any witnesses or the car- I understand that this doesn't seem like a big deal to them, but I have never had an accident and to be blamed for something that happened I can't let that happen. Plus no ofense to her, but I keep asking why is a young mom out at that hour walking around no less?). Okay enough of my rant, I wonder if I hold back the salary if they would work? I should get paid! I should try to follow and track the mom's case and maybe I can solve that for them too!



UGH anyway, I am off to pick up some Mickey heads in the morning from home depot on our way to look at video footage!

As for your insurance/detective car woes. I can't believe they are not doing more. Even more than that... I can't believe that that person did that... checked the damage on THEIR vehicle and just did nothing in regards to your car. I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying a few prayers that you are able to find the person and have them pay the damages.

Although today him and K are pushing some of my buttons-- we are under flood warnings and our whole road is flooded it's been raining since last night in the early evening and hasn't stopped and heavy rain too, I wish that I could blow the rain over to shocky's part of the US though!

I am going to do it when we first get in (maybe let Damien do it while K and I take showers) and then head out to wilderness lodge for our reservations! I'm not sure yet. K hates the idea- he hates decorating for Christmas at our house as it is I can't imagine making him help me there! I don't plan to spend much time there either, but it's a little thing that will make us smile when we come back to the room for naps and/or a goodnight sleep!

I too am hoping/planning on hitting the pools. I think the weather can be hit or miss from what I have read. 80 degrees (ok to swim) to 40 degrees (obviously not ok to swim) I think it HAS to be a nice December this year. After having the year I have.. and even the weather being what it has been here (I wondered if I should wear a sweater today) it just has to be warm and sunny come December!

This morning we had a movie morning! I knew that we were going to have an early morning and all week we are going to have my little brother in law sleeping over so I wanted to get a movie time in! So anyway, for breakfast we had this:

One of my advent countdown gifts is a new beach towel and a swim suit...caught the suits on clearence this weekend and watching for the towels to go on sale!

All I have to say is YUM-O!!!!! What movie and I need that drink recipe!

I have to tell you that....your food always looks so amazing! I am getting embarassed looking at yours and then mine!

Oh no, I get embarrassed for how you do movie nights! Those are really good! The smoothie is actually one I make for Damien a lot because he's not big on eating in the morning. It's just some frozen mixed berries (any kind I think that this one had a lot of blueberries by the color but strawberries, mangoes, bananas, anything really would taste good we like to explore with this part!), some plain greek yogurt (you can also use home-made or regular as well if you add flavored just make sure that it's not too much or it will be really sweet), this one I used almond milk but we also use coconut and lactaid or if you use plain milk you can use that as well and just blend it together! Very quick! I can't give you measurements because it depends on how much your making and what your family like but I know that the milk you add it just above all of the other ingredients and the yogurt will over power (especially the greek) if you use too much, if I am making it like this morning just 2 cups I only use about 2 TB yogurt, about 1 cup fruit and the milk you just pour it over the top of everything! I used to take pictures of the things I would give Damien for lunch- they are all over my facebook, when school starts I'm really strict with his diet because of his behavior during the summer I am more wishy washy so no cinnamon rolls in the fall/winter/summer!!

We watched Indiana Jones! I know it doesn't really go with the movie but I kept telling Damien (during the movie) that to do those things and run so fast he has to eat well!

Well the polar bear is cold because he stepped out of the water just kidding.... lol I will take a picture of those crazy people a lot of them are older men though and they do it in the beach 2 blocks from our house.... but I think it's in Jan so I may have to require you to follow my TR and I'll post it on there when I get it! I go there to watch that because I keep thinking "this is the year I'm going to see my grandfather doing it because he's just lost his mind that much" but I have yet to see him join!

Thank you very much for keeping her in your prayers and thoughts. The only person that I have spoken to about her is the child advocate that's on the case. My sister's mother in law still has her as of Monday, but I do know that shortly she will be put into a foster care home until everything is settled. They cannot release her to me while I live in NY because she needs to remain in state while the proceedings are going on. My sister doesn't want to talk about it when I talk to her because I told her to either move back home to NY where her family is or let Lily come home to all of us- she doesn't want to do either. I think now that she lives for drama which is hard for me to think because I get anxiety when I have drama in my life! Heck even calling for ADR's and thinking that I may not get things caused drama for me because I got so nervous and anxious! Anyway, I do know that when she gets placed in a foster home I will be able to finally talk to her again (I haven't been able to since June or May I can't remember) and she will be out of town from my sister and her mother in law. I just can't understand my sister though she complains that she doesn't have gas money to go see her daughter (a 1/2 hour drive), but she's planning this really nice wedding for her and her new fiance for next summer, she bought plane tickets to come here in October (just her and her fiance-even if she has Lily she said she's not going to bring her because she wants to have fun at the wedding) and the other night went out to the movies?!?!?!? I don't know... anyway, Lily will be starting kindergarten soon too, I am not sure if the foster home will send me email pictures or anything though but the child advocate said that she will give them all of my information! Okay sorry for unloading all of this onto you, but I don't really get to mention her around here. DH doesn't understand whats going on and I don't think he wants to, my grandfather lets me talk but I don't like what he says when I talk and my friends... well they have mouths and tell people in our group that I don't want to know! A happy update.....

I was told that I can go pick up my car on Thursday and DH said that he wants to look into trading it in for another car when we get it back because he's not sure about them not using all manufacturer parts? I don' t really understand it I just know that maybe we will get to go pick out the car but we are not going to make the same mistake with a brand new car, we are going to get one a year or 2 old that was used as a leaser or rental! And that's the same day that we get to go pick up my DMIL from the airport! She was supposed to stay until October, but she's been there since March so she's homesick I think! You know what that means though? I finally get Burmese food that I like since she's the only one that will make my favorites! YUMMM I am excited!

Disney..... we are having a movie night tomorrow- although we should save this for when DMIL gets home I'm doing it tomorrow! And reading over I didn't realize how much of our trip I had already paid off so I am really good with that and I have found more money to do things for that trip! And my DB won't be home (he's deployed), but we are going to stay with his kids and wife in NC one night! It will be the first time I see the kids since my DS passed away in 2007 and our kids are the same age, but they were only 2 and 3 then! So I am really happy with these things today! I hope that everyone has good things happen this week!

I hate how things sound for poor Lily. Keep calling and bugging the case worker...I would do it every day to show how much you love that little girl! Please talk about her all you want, hear to listen.
