Driving, arriving in the middle of the night!!!!!

I had some friends who tried that and ended up sleeping in their car in a Waffle House parkin lot!!! Now it was over Mid Winter Break, but I still would be weary...

Our flight was majorly delayed once and we arrived at 3:30am at our hotel. It was really hard getting the kids settled to sleep because A)they had slept some on the plane and B) they were excited to be at WDW. And frankly I was excited too! I slept about 3 hours total that night - ouch! I think when folks around us started waking up and going out for the day (banging doors, talking outside as they walked by - nothing major noise-wise) it woke me up. Not a great way to start a vacation! It took us about 2 days to feel like normal :guilty:

I say why not stop in Brunswick, GA. The hotel rooms there are cheaper than in most places on I95 and it is a nice area. You have about 250 more miles to go in the morning which isn't bad - we usually take our time getting up and arrive around 2-3pm which is check-in time. Savannah is also another good area - sometimes a bit more pricey.
