Dress Shoes in Montreal

I'm heading to Montreal on Business tomorrow for a few days and I would like to get a new pair of Men's dress shoes. If you are familiar with Men's shoes ... I'm looking for a high quality "Dack's" sort of shoe (full leather dress shoe). Anyone have an ideas where to shop?

Just go in the Montréal's underground, you should find lots of stores that will fit you needs. Place Ville-Marie is more buisness related, you might prefer to go there, but Centre Eaton also has lots of stores.

Harry Rosen, Ogilvy, and Holt Renfrew are your best bets for high quality men's shoes. All are in downtown and walking distance apart, but only Harry Rosen is part of the underground city in Les Cours Mount Royal. If you need a break from the shoe shopping and want some chocolate stop by Sweet 88 on de Maisonneuve near Holt's.

Okay my shoe shopping has concluded. I picked up a pair of Magnanni shoes from Brown's. A little pricey at $350 before taxes but a great shoe. Fully leather with leather soles. I hope they last me seven years like my Dacks did (with minor rebuilds). Thanks again.
