Dress code/food quality at Emeril's???

We have a reservation at Emeril's, is this a good place??
Do we have to wear nicer clothes, meaning no jeans?
What if we come from a day in the park?

We have 2 kids (10.12) and 2 adults.

Any advice is welcome!!!

Have a great time at Emeril's! The food quality is outstanding, and there is something for everyone - the adventurous as well as the "plain meat and potatoes" crowd! Portions are large enough to share for most items (i.e. of the kids aren't big eaters and can agree on an entree), and the wait staff happily complies. You can look at the menus for all his restaurants on his website.

I've been there twice and dress is everything from casual to quite dressy. I believe there's a no tank tops, flip-flops, etc. rule but some jeans were present as well as khakis, shorts, etc.

my husband and I were just there last month for dinner and it was excellent - the dress code was varied - some people were dressed up and others were casual.

If you feel really adventurous try the degustation menu - it's the chef's tasting menu for the night and it was delish! Although now that I think about it you probably don't want to try this with kids - it might be a little too exotic for them. Sorry - wasn't paying enough attention to your post.

PS - try the grand marnier souffle for dessert...it was incredible!!

aw: We love Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific. The food is excellent and the wait staff is incredible. We have been there twice and everyone in our party loved it.

the kids menu is small, but varied. it's anywhere from mac and cheese to a filet. we've been there numerous times straight from the parks or over to Orlando just for dinner. we've never felt over or under-dressed. it's an outstanding restaurant.
