Dreams Unlimited??????

Any comments, reports. reviews on their sevices???? I am ashamed to say I have not used them before but am seriously considering them on my next trip(April).

Is it like booking directly with Disney? Do I have the same rights during check-in, i.e., "this is what I booked and paid for and not what you are offering".

Thanks to all of the great DIS board family that continues to help me and our family in so many ways.

Booking through DU IS booking directly through Disney. DU is a company that only sets up Disney vacations. I used them back in 2001 and was very happy with their service. My agent was Cathy Miller and when DH and I travel back to Disney, I would use her again. They take care of all your PS ressies and will actually help you with an itinerary if you so desire one. I never talked with Cathy directly, only through emails, but she was so personable each and every time. Dreams is a GREAT company, I'm sure you'll be very happy with their service.

Actually Tiggerlover, I believe they now book cruises on lines other than Disney.

I have booked 2 trips with DU, one was a package and a room only, and the other was a cruise and a room only. I was highly impressed with the the level of service I received. My agent always got right back to me, kept everything in order, organized a great itinerary for me, and found wonderful discounts(sometimes quicker than I found them myself ).
I have 2 more room only reservations currently booked with them. I would recommend their services.

We used DU to book 2 vacations. We used them for a cruise and then for a Dsiney World Vacation. Both times they were wonderful. We had them book our cruise for thie July but unfortunatly we had to cancel as we are going to be a little bit busy (BABY ) and can't go. I have to say they were wonderful about the whole thing. We have a special needs son and have alot of special concerns and they were all taken care of. When ever I tried to contact them I had a reply within 12 hours. I would definitly book with them again!

O.K., NOW, I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED. IF THEY ARE BOOKING AGENTS FOR DISNEY THEN WHY ARE THIR QUOTED PRICES LESS THAN DISNEY????? I HAVE NEVER BOOKED ANY WAY BUT THRU CENTRAL RESERV AND I GUESS I AM SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS BUT WOULD FEEL BETTER WITH MORE FEEDBACK - THEN I'D BE HOOKED FOREVER!

MamaQuack, Dreams is currently running a rebate promotion for packages that gives you discounts on TOP of whatever best rate they can get for you. They will also continue to monitor for any discounts released and will have them applied to your reservation, if available.

Thank you so much for your response and information! Since I am such a novice at this part of reservation making I appreciate all the help I can get. I now see that our 3 trips a year we could have saved much more money to have fun with in the parks!

I recommended them to three friends all Disney novices -- all loved them. We are using them this trip, been really happy with them so far. Their responses have been same day, usually within hours.

we booked our October 2002 trip with DU and it was wonderful -
she got us ALL the PS we asked for - BOTH the Princess Breakfasts and always responded ASAP to any questions I had. THANK YOU DU

I have used Dreams several times, and I have been more than pleased each time. As a matter of fact, they booked my current trip this coming May. They have been tremendously helpful to me, especially when it comes to switching ressies when a code rate comes out. Don't hesitate to use them!

I think DU is the ONLY way to go. They are able to get PS at Cinderella's Castle without me having to awaken at the crack of dawn, they are able to stay on top of discounts (saving over $400 on this trip)..... everything you can imagine

Dreams Unlimited (Merrie Thomas) booked one night of my fourteen night vacation in December, and it was the only night where everything was right from the minute we got there! My former travel agent had made so many mistakes (forgot to put father-in-law on reservation for hotels, for example!) that I will book all future trips through Dreams, and, in fact, am getting ready to book my trip for this December through them within a week or two!

Dreams is the best! I work with Tammy and I can't say enough wonderful things about her and Dreams.

I will never book my own Disney vacation again. It so much easier letting her do all the PS's.

Count me in as another satisfied customer!! They always respond very promptly to my questions (as never ending as they maybe) and have been very helpful. If nothing else, the convenience of having someone else deal with CRO or WDTC or whatever they call themselves is worth it to me!! Go for it - you won't be disappointed!

We haven't gone on our trip yet, but the reservations and planning have been above and beyond what I would have imagined. This is our first trip to Disney; we booked a land/sea package and also booked an extra night at the beginning of the trip. John and Cathy (McConnell) were so helpful answering questions, providing quotes, making reservations. Misti booked our extra night and I was thrilled when she informed me that the rate was reduced. And now Tammy has been my consultant helping me to plan my itinerary. Tammy has helped me with so many questions, suggestions, PSs. Everyone that I have dealt with at Dreams Unlimited has been prompt and personable in their emails. I just can't say enough about them and will recommend them to everyone!

We used DU to plan our trip this past December. It was our first time on property during the holidays.

DU was great to work with. I'm an obsessive planner and DU responded promptly to all my emails and requests. We stayed at 3 different hotels. DU took this all in stride when I added Poly nights right in the middle of our stay, thus having to adjust all our hotel nights.

DU made all of our priority seating reservations. And was on top of getting us the latest and greatest discounts on our rooms. A couple times I had DU "check again please" and my agent did so with patience!

The best thing was that it saved me time. It was extremely efficient to work via email rather than spending my time on the phone on hold while my toddler vied for my attention. Payment was simple and easy via online payments.

We will be deciding this weekend (with my in-laws) on our next Disney vacation dates (early 2004) and when we have our dates and hotel choice picked out, I'll be contacting DU once again!

Hi MamaQuack (your name will always bring a smile to my face) I love dealing with Dreams. Just book your trip with them, and know they will get you the best rate they can.

My last trip was booked with them. Beth C was my agent. I had the pleasure of meeting her and her family this summer at the Plymouth Dis Meet.

I would never think of going through anyone else again. I do have a personal travel agent who has always handled all my travel needs. He now only handles my flight and rental car needs. He just can't provide the services that Dreams does and I surely don't want to do it myself. I now leave my planning to Dreams, and I'm more then pleased.
