I am paying for my cruise on the dreams unlimited website. Does anyone know if I pay a little extra, ~$200 or so in gift cards, will that go onto my on board account for my cruise? Thank you in advance.

No, it won't be an automatic thing for extra to be used to buy OBC. You can call DCL directly to purchase the OBC yourself, or you can email your Dreams Unlimited TA that you want to purchase OBC.
