My family is now home and still on a high from our big trip to Disney World, a trip that was made SO easy to plan thanks to the great DU agent assigned to us - Traci Kann!
This trip was to celebrate family and introduce my two-year-old granddaughter to the magic of Disney World, and we were going in a big way with accommodations at the Contemporary, special dining requests, the 'big' kids wanting to build droids and light sabers. Traci asked all the right questions at the outset, over a year before the trip, and kept in touch as dates for reservations opened up.
We started first with room reservations in the main tower, but the ultimate goal was a 2BR and studio theme park view in BLT. Traci stayed on top of things and once the BLT became available, switched everything over (she even managed to save us $$ by double-checking rates periodically, and when the pricing on the studio came down she got the lower rate applied!). When the date for reservations for dining and activities opened up, she made sure she had all our preferences noted and at midnight, made the droid and light saber reservations...then at 6am started on the dining. She managed to get everything we wanted...including the coveted Topolino's for breakfast!
She was a HUGE help getting our MDE accounts all set up and tied together when I struggled to figure out how to get everything linked. She created a wonderful itinerary document with all our plans in one spot...tips and hints for the day, park hours, etc. and also provided some tips for using Genie+. She arranged our Memory Maker purchase too...we ended up with almost 100 park photos and a dozen short videos to remind us of all the fun we had.
There was also a three-night stay at Universal before the Disney portion of the trip - she arranged everything beautifully, even notified me when a ticket special was available to give us an extra day at the parts for just about $20 each that only increased the amount of fun we had, and made sure we got everything done at both parks that we wanted.
This was my 12th visit to Disney World - and for the previous 11 I maintained full control of everything...did all the work to set things up. This trip, I knew I wouldn't have the time (or expertise) to figure all this out. Things had changed so much since our last trip. Choosing Dreams Unlimited felt like the best choice as I've been a member of these boards for so many years, and I am so pleased that I got connected to Traci for this very special trip. It was perhaps the closest to perfection in a Disney trip that we've had - and one whose memories were made all that sweeter because I had such a great planning partner to make it all happen.
