I am very interested in what the Sofa/Murphy bed(s) look like open.

I have seen two styles of sofa, a blue with wood arms and a brown (in the suites?) and then of course there is the Murphy beds in the Family rooms. If anyone has those rooms, please share photos of the beds made up in the evening.

Thank you!

Pj

I'm very anxiouis to see these as well. I'd really like to see all three additional bed options open in a Family Suite with Verandah.

sailing on the 17th and I would like to see these photos too

Me five or six!!!

The couch is just too freaking hard and I am just not going to climb up the little ladder to the upper bed. Not at my age. I am not happy that on the Dream the big bed will not separate. I travel with my BFF and we are not about to sleep in the same bed!!!! No way!!! We want a stateroom with a veranda. I am guessing the murphy bed's mattress will be just as hard as the couch. We paid the same amount for our May 2012 Fantasy cruise but don't want to flip a coin to see who gets the nice comfy big bed.
I hope Disney realizes their goof and makes a few changes for the Fantasy in regards to the bed situation or I will just stay with sailing on the Wonder and Magic. I am sure a lot more folks feel the same way I do.

Me ten!

The murphy in the Cat 4's will block the verandah I'm sure. I'm wondering the Cat 4 and 8's will also touch the vanity/desk and therefore you will not have access to those drawers when the bed is down.

And where in the heck will you put the chair! (at least the 4's could put it on the verandah :lmao:)

.

I would like to see a picture as well. I've seen tons of room pics from the Dream, but none show the murphy bed open :sad2:.

Do these murphy beds have a toddler bed rail that can be added to them? I won't let my little one sleep on the top bunk (and my 9 year old would pitch a fit if she didn't get the top anyways).

These beds do have a bed rail and you can get one for the head end of the bed so they don't scoot out of the top. The foot of hte bed is up against the wall

They have bed rails that can be added to the murphy bed, single sofa bed, pull out 2person sofa bed, and regular beds. At least they had them on the Magic & Wonder, assume they'll have them on the Dream as well.

The ceiling bed has a metal rail that is standard, but I think you can also use a regular bedrail as well, as mentioned by the above poster to cover the head as well.
