Dream Servers?

Hey gang!

I'm new to the disboards (I usually hang out over on passporters! Is that a faux paus to say? )... but am slowly trying to wade through the mass of information on here.

I'm a travel agent, Disney Nut, DCL nut, DVC owner, mommy, and kansas chic.

Forgive my newness to the board, and if this is out there somewhere already, I just haven't had time to find it...

We are cruising on the May 29th Double Dip of the Dream. I was wondering if anyone that has sailed the Dream already had servers that they just LOVED that you might recommend to me?

We were on the Dream in February. We loved our servers. Our server was Luis from India and our assistant server was Emmanuel from Mexico. Emmanuel was making animals and hats out of the napkins for the kids one night. They loved going to dinner just to see him. They were very acommadating (sp?). My parents had different servers and they kept commenting that they wish they had ours.

Hi Angie! I haven't sailed the Dream yet but I wanted to invite you over to our cruise meet thread - there are a bunch of us who have been 'getting to know eachother" that are all on the 5/29 double dip!

We haven't been on the Dream yet, but do know that one our faves from the Magic is onboard. Gabriella from the Czech Republic. She's lovely, and really went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful experience.

Just back from the Dream and we thought Leslie, from India, was excellent. He was on the Magic for many years and is very experienced and friendly.

Miki from Japan moved from assistant server on the Magic to server on the Dream. She is super. However, she went on vacation in early April, so not sure whether she'd be back for your cruise.

Seriously, Miki is great--our server was....ummm....sub-optimal. Miki as the assistant more than made up for his lack.

Just got off the Dream this week. Maria from Romania (server), and Christopher from the U.K. (asst server) were both excellent. Can't say I had even one problem with them. Treated my kids great.

Our kids loved Wut (our assistant server) and Reeza (our server). They both did magic tricks for the kids each night, Wut gave my daughter the card trick on the last night.

We had emmanuel from mexico on august 25 th on the dream. We loved him and showed my kids magic tricks every night. Eka, emmanuel and pascal...awesome team
