Dream: May 22, 2011

The girls will be getting these B2B cruises for Christmas. We had a banner made that we cut up into 20 puzzle pieces and wrapped each piece individually. They each will get 10 pieces and will have to work together (that will be the day!!) to reveal the present of the cruise! They are going to FREAK!!!!! (or will have killed each other, having to work together!!)

But before all of that they will be served Butter Beer in a Universal Mug with a scroll attached telling them that they will be spending New Years at Hogwarts!!! This sure will be a Magical Christmas!!!

Jim , where do you live at in south Jersey? Had a buddy , who lived in Hawthorn N J. WE went to VIET NAM together way back in 1969.
We all need to meet up with Kris, and take the auto train with her and Don , that "ride" really sounds good.
I am still waiting for southwest to come down in ticket prices,I got the car rental already booked for 14 days.....come on ''down" southwest. I hate to pay $ 139.00 per person[for the 3 of us] there and $139.00 back when last year it only cost $69.00.
After our cruise , Kathy and I and daughter Sarah are going back to OKW till SAT.,June 4th.Are you guys going over to WDW after the cruise?

Don & Jim - Sure, come join us on the AutoTrain.
It leaves from Lorton, VA (just south of DC) and ends in Sanford Fl.
No stops in between, no one gets on or off except at the start and end points. Currently, the cost - round trip - for 2 adults and a car is $685 total. If you have a van it is a little more. 3 people with a van is $891 round trip. Those rates are in "coach" and with the AAA discount. The rates include a very nice supper with a selection of at least 4 entrees, wine or soda & dessert, snacks, coffee and tea throughout the trip and a continental breakfast. The Wine and Cheese at the beginning of the trip is in the "first class" coach - which is where you go if you have a roomette/bedroom reservation. We get a roomette - which costs more because Don has back problems and is more comfortable laying flat to sleep. For me, I have no problem traveling coach.
You also have the option of doing the trip just one way. When we figured in the cost of flying out of Pittsburgh, parking at the airport and either renting a car or useing Disney transportation etc... it came out about the same in cost, and we much prefer the no hassle train ride to navigating all of the airport regulations.

We're not heading to DW this time. We're going to do that in November when we cruise with DD and DGS.

I did a cost estimate for us if we take the Husurdady van pool to the port, and it came out to ZERO! Plus we can sleep the entire trip.


Bella you can join us too, since the pick up point is Pittsburgh.

Don, - Poison and I live in Marlton nj., which is just across the Delaware from Philly(9mi). Hawthorne is about 90 min. north of us, near NYC.

BTW - Thank you for your service to our country. My dad served in WWII, and I appreciate your sacrafice very much!

We're planning on spending a few days on property post cruise, as I'm sure we won't want to leave that soon. Just not sure where yet. Maybe we can meet up for a meal or somthing.

OOOhhhhh Naomi,
Watch those ice falls. Dh fell on the ice one year ago yesterday and ended up with major shoulder surgery. Who would think that one fall could do so much damage. You take care of yourself. Just close your eyes and dream of those nice warm breezes and the sun baking you while you relax in that lounge chair. Good luck with your finals.

Jim - You're correct about the Husurdady Van Pool!! We can cruise right into the cruise. He'd probably make us wash that van though.

I know you deal with numbers a-lot doing taxes and all , but how did you marry such a young Man..........just KIDDIN' , we all know you meant DYLAN and not DH. Did you see this past week where VICK is asking the court or who ever that he wants a dog, as you know he is band for life to owning a dog.
Yes , this cold-snowey blank-T -blank weather can leave any time. I told the Dw that we had enough points to go down to OKW [starting in JAN] and stay there six or seven weeks, her reply; 'you are not going and take away my may/june time down there". GOD LOV'EM........they just don't know how "old bones" feel in cold weather. You being a carpenter and working out side.......you know what I am talking about......or another couple of years will know.
