Dream a Little Dream: May 8-12, 2011

well I have not spilled the beans yet...but I have to share with you all I am getting these big castle cardboard boxes and am going to wrap them up and fill them with balloons...I think it will be great. Just over 1 month to wait. I will keep you post xmas evening on the kids had to say. I am sure you might all hear it.:rolleyes1

what a great idea!!! maybe plain boxes but the wrapping has pictures of different things?:confused3
I love the filled with balloons idea and perhaps the other poster's idea of "Disney" things inside the box for maximum? effect:yay::yay::yay:
I have to give you credit for going this long. There is no way I could have kept this secret!!!! Good for you!!!

It's been a while since we've done this, but we used to get big empty appliance boxes from Best Buy to use for all sorts of creative things. The boxes were big and free. If the big box electronic stores still offered that, you could certainly fill it with balloons-- helium filled ones would even float out and up and other Disney related pictures and props.

I did think of that...I know most to the places now have to crush them....But I did think of that as well. Yes I too was thinking of helium balloons, and I am sure that will happen. I am thinking a big Mickey Mouse one. :cool1:

So I am in total plan mode while I am thinking this will help make time pass fast.

Also my 6 year old woke up today asking if we could put up the tree. :santa:

I had to tell them we would work on a little at a time. I had to tell him I think he has been such a good boy this year that santa will bring great things. I am very sure that his little mind is all ready for the tree but this mom is not. But soon enough. I told him in about 3 weeks we would put it up.

Just wanted share with all of you that the Dream will be on Good morning America on Friday Nov 5th. I plan to watch and DVR it so the hubby can see it too. :cool1:

I hope I remember to set my VCR on Thursday night.

I changed my email address and lost all my privileges to post and pm for 2 weeks :sad2: since I had to retrieve my old email to get privileges back.

I missed celebrating my 180 days going to Poly , but I'll be on time to celebrate our 180 days from the cruise :yay:

I will be glued to the tv. But if you for get I am sure you will be able to find it online!

Hey fellow cruisers: Here's a link to the USA Today website which has numerous pictures of the Dream, also includes many interior pics!

Thank you so much for posting that link....I loved looking at the pics of the ship...for a min I had to double take. The room number they show is right by our room. I can not wait to board the ship. But even more than that I can not wait to tell the boys so I can talk about it in my house with family. Ok and one more my kids have not had a real xmas in 3 years due to being out of work. This is us also taking our lives back and giving it back to the kids too. So this is our first vaction in 4 years by the time we go. So I have just over a month to wait and I can not wait to see the kids faces light up.

Thanks again for the link I am going to have to remember this one to show the boys when they find out.:cheer2:

Well I did I watched Good Morning America....It was neat to see the aquaduck running. I have already entered the contest and I hope I win. It would be great to win that. If you missed make sure you check it out online.
