Dream a Little Dream: May 8-12, 2011

I am looking at booking the radssion or the country inn and suites. I am just tring to make up my mind....I am thinking counrty inn...but I have a weird question for all of you. Since last time we did not stay by port we stayed at wdw. Ok this is it, which hotel has a better view of port can it be seen at all. I know the radssion says you can see but what is the view. :surfweb:

hi. glad you asked because there is all kinds of useful info there, such as booking excursions, forms to fill out ahead of time, etc. go to the disney cruise line homepage. you will have to register for first time user and there you go. hope this was helpful.:flower3:

I sent my ADRs list to my TA today. :goodvibes
I have the impression it will finally feel real :cool1:

i really want to make mine but not sure where to go. im getting in late on the 4th so will eat at the hotel. need to know where to go on the 5th and 6th at magic kingdom or animal kingdom since they are the 2 parks we are taking Logan (5) to. on the 7th am meeting with family off park. any suggestions? was thinking chef mickeys, but heard food sucked. also, was maybe thinking of just eating qs so we are not tied down to meal times...what are those traveling with little ones doing?:flower3:

We have never had a dining plan, but we have always made a point to schedule a character meal, especially with Mickey because for my DS a trip to Disney just isn't right without seeing the mouse. Doing the character meal ensured we saw Mickey without waiting in a character line. My favorite character meal is breakfast. I wouldn't rate any of the character meal food as outstanding but we have found it all good.

:thumbsup2We did Chef Micky for dinner and I can tell you the food was great and the kids loved it. I would say go for it and get there early because then there is a chance your child will get to cut the rope for the opening. They do this each night and I can tell you when my kids got picked it was awesome.:rotfl2:

We booked our hotel room for May 7th. We are staying at the country Inn and suites. I can not wait now that everything is falling into place. I can tell you what sold us was the fact it came with breakfest. :thumbsup2 My kids are not big breakfest eaters so I did not want to have to pay extra on top of the room for something they will most likely not eat.

Anyone else staying with us.

no I have not gotten anything from Disney....I would like the later show time..take the kids to the show then to bed...so mom and dad can chill on the deck. I will keep my eyes out.

We are looking at booking our hotel room for the day before..just wondering where everyone is staying and have you booked a room. I am wondering if I should book now. We were going to wait but with our ship selling out I am wondering or thinking I should book something now. :surfweb:

A lot of people stay near Cocoa Beach. We are looking in this area ourselves.

Yes! The DIS has tons of useful info, lists even for the listmaker:goodvibes
I love them! Helps me bide my time:rolleyes1
Waiting is hard to do!

We made our excel spreadsheets for the whole trip last night. Since we drive form MA to Florida and then go to WDW, We have a travel, cruise, and WDW spreadsheet, listing park hours, parade times, DDRs, etc

Have you tried the Pooh character breakfast at Crystal Palace? Even our twenty something children like it.

We have lots of planning to do..we too are looking at the days at the parks planning them out...what day and where. I have already hit shopping for new summer clothes for the trip. We got a bunch of stuff for real cheap no that the season here is over. I bought t-shirts for 1.24 each. So the kids are set now we have to worry about the adults.

:cool1:Want to share with everyone...check out the www.meyerwerft.com and click on webcam. On the bottom you can see the dream and it is uncovered. It feels real now that you can see the ship and all the windows. :thumbsup2 I must say it made my day looking at. So check it out. If you click on the flag on the right hand side of the screen you can change it to english.

I've been busy doing that too!:thumbsup2

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls! We are now less than 200 days away from our cruise.:banana::banana:
Yes! It is starting to feel more real!
I got the notice about the dinner/show assignments too. I thought it was interesting but I guess they have to do what they need to do to accomodate more folks on the ship.
We are also staying at the CI&S the night before we sail.
For the poster who wondered about Chef Mickey's- we have been there for breakfast several times and always enjoyed it.
