Disney Cruise Line unveils Disney Dream’s virtual portholes, teen Chill Spa

Disney Cruise Line has revealed more cool features for its newest ship, the Disney Dream, which sets sail on its maiden voyage in January.

Teens will have their own space to be pampered inside the main Senses Spa & Salon on Deck 11. Chill Spa will have two treatment rooms, including showers and a separate seating area for guests ages 13 to 17.

Services will include facials, massages, body treatments, manicures and pedicures. Some examples of Chill Spa indulgences include a Fabulously Fruity Facial, Hot Chocolate Wrap, Tantastic Body Bronzer, Surfer’s Scrub and an Ice Cream Manicure and Pedicure.

Also new to Disney Cruise Line are the virtual portholes, which will be located in all inside staterooms and provide guests with a real-time view of the outside of the ship that reflects the actual stateroom’s location — port or starboard. High-definition cameras placed on the exterior of the ship feed live video to an LCD flat-screen monitor cleverly disguised as a porthole.

I am just under 10 months here because we are going to the wdw 1st. So we leave a week before all of you do. I can not wait for time to fly by....but not to fast we still have to pay for it. But we are well on our way to having that part done too. I love checking my ticker to watch the day fall off.

We just booked!!!! Can't wait, got a good deal on room but just found a cheaper room for May1st sailing. Only thing is Easter break is week prior, so that's 2 weeks out of school for kids.

We always fly Southwest, but no rates for May yet. Seems like all deals from Philly to MCO are around $220 pp. Most we ever paid for all 4 of us was $500 RT so I am holding out for better fares.

Trying to save for more spending dollars.

Welcome to our Dream Ship......:woohoo: We too have looked at airfare and found a good deal so we booked it. Southwest will release rates up to March 2011 on Aug 7th. After that release date if you check under travel tools on the bottom of their web page they will post when the next block of rates will be released. May normally comes out in Oct or Nov. Good luck with your planning.

I know for all of us hear counting the days or watching them fall off is huge. Also keeps us on track with the saving and paying.

How did your exam go Mickey4?:flower3:

Not sure yet it takes 3 to 4 weeks to find out:teacher: and in the mean time i sit on pins a needles. Lets put it this way the computer at the testing site crashed :surfweb: while we were signing in they then gave us a bunch of photo copied pages to take the test. Thru my thinking all off but I think I did pretty good.:thumbsup2

We only have 5 months and it is xmas which means my kids find out :santa::worship::rotfl2::banana::woohoo:...just wondering what their reaction will be. I guess my point is TIME IS FLYING!!:thumbsup2

If any of you are going to WDW before/after the cruise- ticket prices for the parks are supposed to go up in the very beginning of August. You can purchase now. They don't expire until 14 days after you begin to use them
(if you choose not to use them consecutively)
something to think about:idea:
