Dream 5-Night March 4, 2012

:cool1::cool1::cool1: EEEEKKK!!! We are getting so close! Finally getting all of our arrangements made...we have decided to surprise the in-laws with Blue Man Group on 3/2 then doing US/IOA Saturday and hanging out to see the GooGOo dolls so Friday night we are staying at the Royal Pacific for fast pass perks then Saturday at the near by Best Western booked via Hotwire! The inlaws and DD have no idea about Universal or Blue Man Group! FInally done with the FE stuff and have started packing bits and pieces in between deep cleaning the house for the In-law visit!:confused3 See yall real soon!!!

BTW....I tend to ramble when I am nervous or excited...SORRY

:thumbsup2 We'll be at RPR too on Thursday and Friday nights! :yay: It's Esme's b'day on Friday and she's very excited to spend it in HP world! And our first trip to IOA.

Ooo, deep cleaning for the in-laws..I've been there!

And rambling is good! :goodvibes

Anita,

I saw a trip report about HP world.. it was very cool, I think it was on the most recent trip report for cruises.. Shows really fun photos. I haven't heard of HP world, so it was interesting to see... Check it out.. it will just fuel your excitment :thumbsup2

Last minute cruise? Why not. Booked and excited for a late honeymoon cruise with my wife in a verandah.

Wow the googoodolls are doing mardi gras at universal and I didn't even know? Could've sworn I checked this year's lineup a month or 2 ago and don't remember seeing them. Looks like a little detour the night before.

Hi Almandot,
Welcome aboard! Let me know if you want to be part of the Fish Extender Group!

Again Welcome!!!

We are booked on this cruise since march 2011.
Now, let's hope the Air Canada pilots don't go on strike in the next two weeks.

Can anyone tell me if their children were seasick on a cruise. My husband and I have cruised, but not our kids.

Well, then I got nuthin.... I have noticed that our Canadian members are getting their info I little later than the States peeps. So I am not sure if you are Canadian.. but I would call DCL and just ask... then all the worries are gone.:goodvibes

Hee hee, not Canadian, we are in Texas. I called DCL and they just told me they send them about about a month before and to keep looking for them. I guess I won't worry about it till we're a week out or so. I am just so ready to go, makes me excited to get something in the mail! pirate:

We have cruised lots of times with Jeremy now 11, but started cruising with him at 3 and has never gotten seasick. These ships are so big it really is hard to feel anything unless there are some crazy seas out there.

Good Morning All.
Radar is correct. The ships are not only large they are also designed to plain out rough seas. When on the Magic on one cruise we had 12-14 foot waves. Other than when seated for dinner you did not feel rough water. Even then it was a very gentle motion that really did not disturb anyone. With that said, you always will see some people wearing a dramamine patch as a "just in case" thing. Everyone reacts differently to conditions. If worried, use the dramamine. Don't worry about the weather. :confused3 It is a good time of year to cruise as far as weather goes. :yay:

I'm late to the party, but just wanted to chime in and say that we'll be on this cruise (me, DH, DD15, DS16) with Gramma and Grampa.

I haven't read all the pages of this thread, but am hoping my teens find some other teens to hang with and have fun.
