Dreaded DVC "We are Working on It" message

I am screaming on the inside since yesterday with this website!!!! I clicked the days and got the 7 Dwarfs and now when I got back to search again those days are unavailable - so they must be stuck in limbo because of me, but they are not on my dashboard. ahhhhhhhhhhh
 
I keep getting the 7 Dwarves Error too, I've been trying to modify (add my kids on to my reservation) since this morning
 
There is a bug if you are trying to borrow points from a resale contract you will ALWAYS get this message. It's been that way since last year.

Unrelated to that and just this week I was unable to use 2020 banked points that showed on my dashboard but wouldn't appear as available after selecting my dates.

It basically requires a call to MS every time for me these days.

I have shared this before but it is account dependent and people have reported the issue with direct points too.

My resales are fine and no issues. But it has to be frustrating for anyone. I hope you got the banked points issue fixed.
 

I was just on the website and it still (vacuums). I can't put any guests on my rooms at this time.
 
What does the dinosaur mean? I can’t see what rooms are available. He says nothing to see here.

I guess it fixed itself and as a bonus our beach club waitlist came through for end of next month. I was checking everyday, multiple times a day!! Whatever they were doing to screw up stuff yesterday helped us. And the WL even borrowed from a resale contract. It’s bizzaro world!!

So is it not possible to borrow from resale and book online? This was the first time I attempted to borrow the other day. Just now I kept getting the dwarves when borrowing from 2021. I logged out and back in and tried a test reservation in Dec 2021 for my home CCV and no issues. What am I missing here????
 
Well, I think I found the answer to this ridiculous issue. It’s basically hit or miss. Some resales have no issues and others do. What a joke! Another flaw in Disney’s less than magical website.
 
I got the dwarves today when I went to cancel my VGC reservation. I tried multiple times to cancel to no avail and got the dwarves every time. Finally the chat option popped up and the agent said there’s a glitch with Grand California canceling if you don’t have your email on the reservation. He added the email on his end and I was quickly able to cancel. So bizarre
Manually adding my email address resolved this issue for my AK reservation. Thank you!
 
I have been receiving this ALL EVENING whenever trying to modify or book a reservation at Copper Creek after I banked some points from 2020 to 2021 UY, but none of my reservations are actually going through. I get all the way to the review page, click the checkbox to confirm, click submit. Spins for a few minutes, then lands me on the dreaded 7 dwarfs. I'm getting nothing but busy signals calling into DVC, and the MS Chat can't help me because they cannot book or modify the reservation. As this is an 11-month window booking at Copper Creek, I'm super concerned about losing the 2BR Lock-off before I can resolve this. Anyone have any advice? This is happening whether I select direct or resale contracts, and whether the contract has banked points or not (I tried a direct contract with no banked points and received the same).

I’m assuming you’re trying everything including clearing all history ,cookies and trying on multiple devices such as desktop or iPad or phone? I heard some people said something about adding a email address somewhere and that helped. Good luck! I’d be so frustrated if I was trying for a 7 month window.

I have. Different browsers, different computers and devices, clearing caches. It’s soooo frustrating. This is to book rooms for an extended family trip during next years winter school break (it was supposed to be this year but we postponed).

Well, on the plus side, I was able to secure a coveted AKV Value Studio this morning!

On the downside, I was still unable to make the modification or book a new room for CCV. However, after playing around, it appears the issue is ONLY with booking - or modifying a reservation into - a 2BR Lock-off with Walk-In Shower. I was able to grab a (tub) 2BR Lock-Off today no problem. Tried to modify it to the 2BR with Lock-off with Walk-In Shower, got the 7 Dwarfs no matter which browser or device I used. Tried to book a new 2BR LO w WI Shower, still the dwarves. I really want the Lock-Off because I'm putting my mom & step-dad, sister & her boyfriend, and my brother, his SO, and his daughter all in the same 2BR, and wanted to give my brother the lock-off so he can feel like he has his own place and come-and-go without going through the main room as he wants. I still can't get anything but busy signal trying to call MS to see if I can switch to the 2BR LO with WI Shower, but at least I've made some progress!
 
I just ran into this issue. I am on the phone with DVC support as I type this. As I described the issue, the cast member immediately said that they are very aware of an issue with borrowing from resale contracts. Apparently, the on-screen calculator also does not work and always shows half of contract value, not what’s remaining to borrow. I was told they are definitely working on fixing it (no ETA), but whenever I see the dwarves, I need to call in.
