DQ to Contemp......

Hi all! I posted this on the transportation board, but figured I'd hit here too. Our plan is to be at Disney Quest and head over to the Contemporary for a Chef Mickey's dinner. Given it's Disney's buses, how long would you give yourself to get from DQ to Contemporary? Our PS is going to be about 5:00ish...give or take 15-30minutes (haven't made the PS yet!) I got a time of about 45 minutes (waiting for bus and travel time) with being a touch early. How much time would you allow?? 1/2 hour? 1 hour?? Thanks!

Disney always recommends to allow an hour....

Getting to and from Downtown Disney always seems to take the longest, IMHO.

I would say 30 minutes or so.

I would also recommend an hour. Recently it took us an hour to get from DD to the Boardwalk. That was about 30-40 minutes of just waiting for the bus to arrive, then another 20 of travel time. Most DD busses also have Typhoon Lagoon in their loop, which adds to the time.

Since depending the the time of day, your bus may stop at Typhoon Lagoon enroute, allow about an hour. That allows the 20 minutes between busses if you get there right after one leaves, and gives you a little more breathing space. They will hold PS for 15 minutes.

I'd get a bus from DTD by 4pm.
