Downtown Dis to Port Orl. by boat

There are only three days left until my trip. I'm beginning to think I'm planning too much, but I have another question to which I can't find the answer. Exactly where at Downtown Disney is the boat dock that takes you to Port Orleans? Is it at the Market Place or West Side, and is it near a particular shop or restaurant? Also, if anyone knows, what hours does it operate? The boat seems like a scenic and relaxing way to travel. Thanks a bunch for any help.

LTGramps has it right. Just took the boat on the 4th. Plan for warm outerwear in the evening. Have fun!

It is a very pleasent and relaxing boat ride. My DW and I love taking it round trip at night.

It's a great ride - DH and I take the boat ride whenever possible to DTD from POR. It's one of the reasons we love that resort so much. Hope you have a great trip.

Thanks again for the responses. The people on this website have been so helpful with all of my silly little questions on several topics. I appreciate everyone's thoughts. There are only a few more hours left until I'm on that plane and away from New England's bitter cold, and I know I will have a great trip. This site has been a wonderful help in many ways.
