We are leaving for Disney in 3 weeks and I can't decide between a double or a single stroller for my twins I am traveling with enough adults to do single strollers but idk if that will be annoying. WHat do you think?

We have done both. I recommend two singles, especially if you have multiple adults. The double wide is not as easy to manuever one handed or to close up and carry onto busses and it gives you a little more freedom to move about.

Personally I think that this decision depends more on what your needs are and the strollers that you have. For ease of travel two singles might be the better route, but consider what your needs are before making the decision. If they are two umbrella strollers than they might not have the basket, sunshade, or reclining ability that your double might offer you. We have done both scenarios in the past. They each had pros and cons based on the strollers that we had at the time, however for us one double was always the better route.

Doubles being difficult to maneuver, this depends on what you have. We have a Bob Duallie and the maneuverability is amazing. We tried a front/back double briefly with our older two children as well as the sit and stands, and those were bulky and didn't maneuver well. The Bob, best stroller we had hands down. I will agree that both our Bob single and duallie are bulky when folded on the buses.

As a person potentially walking near you, I'll say that the single strollers are much less annoying than the double.
This will depend on whether they are walking side by side or one behind the other. The way that some people walk side by side takes up more room then my double.

With two singles, the stroller pushers can be flexible enough with maneuvering. Impossible with one double.

I'm going to move this to the Disney for Families board, where you'll find other stroller-related posts. :)

When I first posted about maneuverability I was thinking in terms of ease to push not necessarily ease of moving through crowds. For crowd heavy periods single all the way (when possible)!Singles can stagger and fit through crowds much easier.

I also realize that there are some guests who are inconsiderate of others and choose to walk two or even three strollers across with space between them taking up a considerable amount of space, thus hampering the maneuverability of other guests. But sadly this happens everywhere not just WDW.

We always did the single strollers that had the capability of attaching together and becoming a double stroller. That way if DH and my other kids wanted to go on a ride, I wasn't left with maneuvering two strollers on my own.

We had a double on two trips (seems like forever ago now), but we were only two adults. If there's a chance of one adult being the only person with the two kids at some point, then the double is the better option. If you are sure that you'll always have two adults paired with two kids, singles are definitely more maneuverable.

As someone who has twins, I will tell you that you will regret it if you do two singles. I understand the point people make that they are less maneuverable, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. We did it for years and didn't find it all that hard. If it annoys someone that we have a double, sorry, but oh well. We tried two singles and just hated it. No good reason that two people have to push, two people have to carry strollers into the tram, two strollers to park in stroller parking, etc... Just so much better with one. Plus, when exiting the park after night shows, just easier to have both of them right in front of you.

GO double. We always rent the double at the park. Kids enjoy it so much. They can sit and talk together and easy for them to hop out. The greatest.

I have twins, the first year we took a double, the next year two singles. It was sooo much easier with two singles, will never take a double again.

I prefer two singles. My husband & I, at times, will split up and it's nice to not have one of us stuck with both kids. Now that my son is 3 & enjoys walking some, we're going to take our new Zoe double since it's actually lighter than one of our single umbrella strollers. If we need to split up & split the kids, our 3 yo can walk. However, I still prefer the two singles, especially if like us you're on the monorail. A nearly full monorail is hard to find space for a big double stroller where it was very easy for my husband & I to find a spot on different monorail cars with just a single stroller each. There's pros & cons to each.

Was going to post the same. When it's just the wife and I, we opt for the double so we're not each pushing a stroller or, God forbid, one of us ends up solo with both kids. However, if we're there with extended family and there's a good adult to stroller ratio, two singles is much easier to carry, take on transportation, maneuver, etc.

I say this with all respect...please be kind to others and use single strollers. I don't know how many times my wife and I were run over by those double behemoths. I may get flamed for this but I think you are just being inconsiderate to others if you bring those double strollers to WDW. It's hard enough to get around with single strollers. When our kids were little we brought 2 single strollers down so we would create the smallest possible footprint that we could.

How old are the kids? Is there any chance you could get by with one single? If you're not sure, that's where two singles could help since you could leave one behind.
