Hey future shipmates,
I've begun to write the TR from our WDW adventure last week, but I wrote this first. I don't know why I did, but some of you might be interested:

fatherforce, you're a classy guy!! :worship: :worship:

i too am speechless and very touched by your experience. if i were there, i am sure i would have found it hard to keep my philly mouth shut while people were being so disrespectful. it's a habit i have that tends to make my DH crawl into a hole no matter how correct i am.

welcome liz and congrats!!

cheer is very popluar here in NJ too. my neighbor has three girls that have/are cheered/ing. they start them very young here..3 or 4 y.o.

i have two horses in my backyard. they don't know how i can afford it. i laugh back at them and say the same thing about them and cheer. they are always flying somewhere.

while the whole cheer thing is alien to me....my daughter would love being part of the double dip cheer squad.:cheer2: :cheer2:

maybe white tank tops or tees with that great double dip logo??

Hello everyone! I'm Liz and my husband Dave and I will be on the Double Dip cruise! We're in category 5, not sure about our stateroom yet. We're currently on the Magic as I speak! We booked while on board so I figured I'd throw in a hi and let you know that we're already feeling like we can't wait to go and we haven't even left the first time yet! LOL!

Hope to get to know you all soon!

Another BUCKEYE Family !! :woohoo:

Ahoy, Liz! I can't believe you took time out of your last night on the cruise to pop in and introduce yourself, but that's very exciting to me! Thanks for taking the time to say hello! I hope you've had an fabulous cruise and uneventful trip back home. Did you and Dave take the last cabin on the ship? :rotfl:

If you haven't noticed our post count yet, our thread has quite a busy bunch of chatters! Although, I am certain we won't be but a speck of dust compared to your 10/20/07 Meets thread! UNBELIEVABLE number of pages of posts!! To help you catch up, as the Cast Roll Call List keeper, let me suggest that you check out Post 577 (link in my signature) to see if there's anything else listed there that you would like to share about yourselves. There's a website currently under development, and the information you give me will get posted up there!

Post 577 is also a good "go-to" thread to see what kind of activites we've been talking about. If you have other suggestions, please share!!! For some of the activities that may make you say "Hmmm...what is that?!", I tried to add links to other posts that discuss it. Certainly ask if there's anything you want to know more about. This post also has info about locating our cruise logo so you can use it for door magnets, your siggy, or whatever you choose.

Please let us know if you decide to write a trippie!

UPDATE: Okay, missy! Are you trying to slip one by us? I just noticed from your siggy that you are on your honeymoon!!! princess: :groom: Congrats!

Anyone on here live in Missouri?

If so, could you recommend good "big cities" to be near? We're looking to purchase a farm, & we've about settled on Missouri as our new home state. I'm just trying to put out feelers everywhere I know to find out what's good/where to avoid.

Really off topic, but I appreciate any advice any of you may have!!!!:goodvibes

Ha, Grandma4Ever...I just noticed you live in Missouri! Maybe you have some suggestions of good "big cities" to live near (like, within an hour of).

We are SOOOOO excited to find so many BEAUTIFUL farms for so much less than here in Texas. I think what makes our search here so expensive is because DH must have a live water creek on property, and here in TX the options are not that plentiful. But we've found SO many farms for sale in Missouri that are georgeous, have live water, & are so much cheaper than those in Texas.

And, it looks like they're a very homeschool-friendly state, which is a major bonus!

Heather, cmctammyg is also from Missouri. Maybe Tammy can provide some suggestions as well. :)

attempting to catch up--thank goodness you are all chatting more slowly at the moment;)

WELCOME Liz and Dave!!!!! I am sooooo jealous you are on the Magic NOW. Check post 577 for all the Very Important Info:thumbsup2

Opening weekend of Pippin is goign well. Each show is better than the last. Tonight's was awesome. Dave and I both were heavily involved in theater in high school and it feels like we're teenagers all over again (the FUN part of teenagerdom, NOT the misery it so often was:lmao: )

Glad the show is going well. I did theater in HS and some community theater in my younger years. Mostly back stage stuff. It can be lots of fun but is very hard work. Lois

Glad to hear you're enjoying the production! :dance3: How's Rio holding up? How's Marika?

Heya Brandie:) How sweet of you to ask about the kiddos. Speakign of kiddos, is it safe to asume that Fiona is totally well and back to herself again now? My sweeties are good. When they do not come to the theater with us they have been watching DVDs of The Muppet Show:lmao: They love it. Well, geeze, I love it too. Smart humor for kids:banana: The other night they watched an episode in which the guest star was the lead in the film version of Cabaret. Ever since Rio has been wandering around singing "Razzle Dazzle 'Em" non stop:rotfl2: They have both also spent a fair amount of time at the theater. It is a good place for them. Rio in particular is such a theater tyope that he is totally at home there and Marika has found a numebr of people to swap book reccomendations with. But, Marika's big thrill lately has been that yesterday she got to break REAL boards at karate (not the break away ones they usually use). She got through on her very first time and had a blast:banana:

I love techies! In HS and college I was always a techie. You're right about it being tons of fun but also WORK. Most good things are worth working for, right?:)

Well, I got Fiona well, and now DH is trying to get sick and pass it back to us!

We left him at home yesterday with a sick tray (banana, juice, water, food) and movies while we went "shopping!" We came back home to a much improved DH, so I'm hoping his infamous immune system has come through for me again! :thumbsup2

Fiona drug me all around the local farmer's market doing what had to be her first word after "Daddy," "Shopping!" She tried to starve me with her insistence on window shopping, but I finally derailed her into a local French creperie with a promise of hot cocoa. We sat and ate brunch and felt quite worldly looking around and remembering Paris. She gave me her impressions on the scary Art Nouveau cat poster, and I drank my cafe mocha... :rotfl: After we had warmed back up from the chilly walk (*cough* "MARCH, Mommy!" *cough*), we did the serious shopping at Wal-Mart.

Today is reserved for chores and fixing a toilet.

I envy your kiddoes The Muppet Show! I got one of the seasons, but Fiona doesn't quite get the humor yet.

Congratulations to Marika!

Gotta go wash marker off kiddo!
Brandie

Hope everyone is doing well. I can't believe it is almost November already.
