Stacy, BABW's press release indicates that they will have the BADW in DTD itself along with their new T-REX Cafe. I haven't seen dates for either of these though...just "Fall of 2008".

Thak You.. I went Downtown today to look and it has signs up but they say eat, Shop and something or other and coming this Fall.. I was told though that the BAB was opening soon, so I don't know.. I was hoping it would open while I'm down here. I leave on the 19th to go back home.

A friend of ours who is a cast-member at Epcot said that T-Rex Cafe is supposed to start taking dining reservations in the next couple weeks.....we are going to do our darndest to try to get a lunch reservation htere one of our days at WDW pre-cruise.

I imagine if the restaurant is opening then...and the toy store is linked to it...then the shop should be open before we cruise.

I work for BABW in NJ, but my Assistant Manager didn't know anything about it.. I really wanted to be there for the Grand Opening, but it doesn't look like that will pan out..

How do you make reservations? Do you just call the main number to Disney dining?

I have it, it keeps my camera dry, it takes a bit to get used to using it, I was wearing googles and it was hard to see the screen but I think it will be GREAT while in the water, a little harder underwater, make sense? I think its worth buying

We have a HandyCam that takes the DVD's, but it's such a pain to use that it pretty much just sits and collects dust. I used to video stuff all the time, but don't now because I'm so unhappy with our old one and it cost A LOT!!!

I hope this one is easier and I can get back in the habbit of video taping! The one thing I couldn't tell from the website was how big it is and what size bag I will need. I'm hoping it's smaller than our old one, but I can't imagine.

By the way - Doug is out of town and I didn't ask if he thought buying a new Video camera was a good idea - I can hear him now - BUT WE ALREADY HAVE ONE!!!

They are smaller than the DVD ones if IIRC from when I was looking at them in 2005. My dvd was orginally like $1000 and I got it for $200.

Anyone think that during drydock the fish may get replaced?

Question for our friends...
If we put up a US map (sorry to those Canadian friends!), would you take a minute if you pass our door to mark the state you're from? I'm trying to decide if we should do this or not...we'd tally the results when we get home, locate the states on our big wall map, graph the results, etc. Is that too much work for someone passing by?

Is anyone else wearing aqua shoes for the DE? I was at Walmart last night and they were on clearance for 3.00. I decided to pick up everyone a pair.
that is my bargain for the week.

I think we are I bought some at Target back in May on sale.

I am officially obsessed with looking for dresses on ebay. If you don't have your formal or semi-formal dresses I strongly recommend looking there. I just got a tea length red chiffon strapless number that was worn once by a bridesmaid for TEN DOLLARS. It's in excellent condition. Some are new with tags! I am searching again just for something to replace all of my boring semi-formal stuff! But most of them are selling for under $30 and about $10 shipping.

Search either "bridesmaid" and your size (generally one higher than usual dress size, depending on the manufacturer, but most list actual measurements) or by "formal dress" plus your size. I have about 8 that I am currently watching.

I love a bargain.

Honestly I don't know....my friend was going to make the ressies herself for me. I'm not sure if you can make reservations with the normal dining number becuase it's not a disney owned restaurant....you'd have to call and check.

I am a Plus size so I love Dress Barn when they have their Super sales.. I got a Beautiful dress for $20.. It is half off white and half black and will be bringing it in September.. I love it !!

Some people put their names on the FE they give and some people do not. It is up to each individual.

According to Kimberly's lastest update (8/1/08) there are 48 cabins participating. Drea is the FE coordinator.

It is up to each individual to decide on gifts per person or per cabin.

Enjoy your excitement. This is my fourth cruise and I am excited more and more each day.

Ok, so this evening, I've rebuilt my desktop... Of course a lot of stuff I need is now sitting next to me, versus being installed in a machine where it might be useful. I have 2 huge SATA drives now instead of a tiny IDE and a huge SATA.

Of course I have no machine to connect the all-important IDE drive to so I can get all the stuff I forgot. I looked at the Mac and DH started laughing at me. Dangit.

DH and kiddo are playing Rock Band in the other room. Fiona can't read, DH can't sing well, so the games are rather short. However, after each try, Fiona thinks she won, so she pumps her little fists in the air and celebrates.
