Question for our friends...
If we put up a US map (sorry to those Canadian friends!), would you take a minute if you pass our door to mark the state you're from? I'm trying to decide if we should do this or not...we'd tally the results when we get home, locate the states on our big wall map, graph the results, etc. Is that too much work for someone passing by?

Sounds like a great idea to me! I'll be sure to mark our state for you!

Thank you for the info on the DiCaPac! Off to order one today...

On our last cruise we didn't have any problems with magnets getting stolen, and we didn't have our names but we did have our DISboard group name on it. So maybe that helped.

What a bummer that people would actually take the magnets....

Why didn't anyone take our Chicago Bears magnet last time?? No Bears fans?

We're heading for Cocoa Beach next week to play in the sand. Jeff said "Let's take our annual passes...just in case we decide to drive to Disney for a day."

I said NO WAY are we going to Disney in the heat of August to fight looooong lines when we don't have to go then! We've already got 3 trips planned to WDW between now & January, but it's so hard to be that CLOSE and not stop by If it weren't so hot, I think I could deal with the lines...

A friend asked me to go to WDW this week (her dh had to go out of town unexpectedly) and the heat was one reason I turned her down. Saving play money for the cruise was the big reason, though.

Is anyone else wearing aqua shoes for the DE? I was at Walmart last night and they were on clearance for 3.00. I decided to pick up everyone a pair.
that is my bargain for the week.

Having already done the Dolphin Encounter & Royal Swim I strongley suggest that you purchased some sort of water shoes...You have to stand on a platform that has algee(sp) on it and it can be very slimmy!!!

Ok, so how odd would it be if I hang a Christmas Stocking up as my "pfish" extender for our Sept cruise? I guess I still have plenty of time to make a new one though..

Oh and I bought Magnets for our door too.. Last December, they were not touched, however, we were right next to the Staffs room so the magnets and signs always ended up upside down, It was pretty cute.. They day we left I left all the non personal magnets on the staff door, upside down with a Thank You card.. saying Thanks for making our cruise a little more fun

I use the zip ties to lock up my suitcase zippers also.

I use small key rings like the ones you get when you take your car for some type of service (car delership). They are easy to take on and off and you don't need scissors to cut it off.

That's a good idea also Paul. I use fingernail clippers to cut the ties.

Well, I think I need a therapy group for magnetics anonymous!! Seriously, I keep finding door magnets on threads that I love so I keep making additional magnets. Most of the larger magnets (if not all) have some form of name on them. Except, I did a bunch of small character magnets (yeah - I sat and cut them out!! - told you I have magnet issues ), so I plan on putting them on my door and if they disappear - no big deal. I will keep one set on the inside of the door just for me.

Hear ya there! I keep doing the same thing with my door magnetics and Tshirt designs.

A friend of ours who is a cast-member at Epcot said that T-Rex Cafe is supposed to start taking dining reservations in the next couple weeks.....we are going to do our darndest to try to get a lunch reservation htere one of our days at WDW pre-cruise.

I imagine if the restaurant is opening then...and the toy store is linked to it...then the shop should be open before we cruise.
