Congrats on the 2K, and . I couldn't stay away, and once again, I posted and had like 4 more messages to read!

Should we get it put in post #1 (post #6 it will always be to me) or should we see if we can get it on the Disdoubledip.com?

We can set a time and whoever shows up AWESOME!...

Of course we should and can! I'll update Post #1 and the Home page of DISDoubleDip. We can also set up a new thread under the "Meeting on Board" (or something that sounds like that) Forum. I will wait to do that until I'm at home though. I am working/typing in this tiny little window so if someone passes by, they don't wonder what the heck all those animated smileys are doing on my monitor! So it will be easier to take care of it tonight!

You should received luggage tags so you don't have to see your luggage from the time you drop them off at your local airport until sometime after you get settled in your room on Day 1. You'll also receive transfer tickets for the transportation itself.

But I'm only using Disney transportation

A. From the ship to Pop Century (after the cruise), &
B. From Pop Century to the airport (at the very end)

I'm confused about what I should be expecting and what I might need to harass someone about.

Dh would always run his five miles as early as he could. Every morning of the cruise. I would sleep in. I mean, stay in the room to watch the kids.

Since you are staying at Disney you qualify for Magical Express.

You will receive. Not Late yet. ( I think cancellation for single non Pop Package stays are a low number of days so they do not print the stuff for much closer to check in often)

A coupon book with your magical express vouchers
Luggage Tags that will have a code for Pop Century

When you check in at airport make sure each piece of luggage has the yellow luggage tag on it. Read it carefully as the whole tag is a sticker but you only have to use the bottom part of it.

When you get to airport go down to ground transportation and check into magical express.
They will validate your coupon book and explain which coupons are for your return trip. At that time you can schedule your return trip time reservation or do it once you get to POP.

When you get to Pop your luggage will magically appear in your room later.


When you leave POP after the cruise if you will have a reservation time to get Magical Express back to the airport. If you are on a qualifying airport you can check your baggage in (several hours) prior to your Magical Express and check in with the airline right at the hotel.

It's actually two different aspects of Disney Transportation (although DCL buses are often used as ME's on non-transport days). The ship to Pop is a DCL bus. The Pop to the airport is ME. I don't think you really need special tags for either. The ME tags normally given are more for the arrival portion (it tells them that (1) they are WDW bags and (2) which resort area). You would not need ME tags for the departure portion of the trip. So, after looking at this, I'm thinking you would not be issued tags at all.

I don't blame you for washing them! I'd also take the tags out of the back because tags drive me crazy!!!!!!! I can't stand any shirt that has a tag in it.

My DS Chase FREAKS out if there is a tag in his shirt. Luckily, most kids shirts come tagless now.

It must be a girl thing, althought my dh wont wear a shirt unless its been washed, he doesnt care about his pants, but shirts are a must! He works in a clothing warehouse (Marshall's)

My DH is the same way! I usually have to wash shirts 2 times before he will wear them. He says they are "itchy" before they are washed

Shoes. Oh. Never enough room in the suitcase! I'm restraining as well by planning to wear the same strapy sandals on the casual nights at dinner and the same heels on formal and semi-formal night.

I think he's confused because he tried so hard to teach us to bring disposable clothing, not new!

if you are using magical express to one of the Disney resorts, this is correct! When we flew out of Newark once, the person who took our luggage even commented to us abou going to disney b/c of the yellow tags! Your bags will show up in your room a few hours after you arrive, its really great, like a bit of pixie dust!

For the cruise I am now sure when we put on the tags????

My mom emailed me this morning to get me thinking about an Alaskan cruise in 2010. Today, I read a thread on the main board about Disney going to Alaska in 2010. *hrrrrmmm* So mom has already gotten me to book 2 Disney cruises (see tickers)... Do you think she's got stock in this company or something???

Or better yet, who wants to be a fly on the wall when I mention the 2010 Alaskan Disney cruise to DH???

So, I went home for lunch today, I looked up and saw the UPS man driving toward my house, and then.............................he just kept right on driving! Still no cruise Docs for me

What I'm worried about is that my townhouse is part of four that are set back from the road behind this old house (although each townhouse has a "number" on that road - i.e. "124 whatever road "). I often order stuff through my company store and it is delivered by fed-ex. Unfortunately, the fed-ex delivery man keeps leaving everything on the front porch of this old house (luckily it is converted to several apartments so people tend to leave it out front). Don't actually remember a UPS delivery in recent months so I'm worried that if UPS is as confused as Fed-ex, he might leave my envelop at the wrong place!!!

For those that have gotten theirs, is it just a regular size envelope with a UPS label? Is it in one of those UPS letter things?

I should add juggling my crack berry. My husband and I both work in TV on morning shows. We ride to work together an hour each way. I've read all 188 pages on this post from my black berry. I read to him while we're driving. He thinks I'm nutts, well, I am. On Thursday mornings I make him listen to the DIS Unplugged Podcast. Off to bed!

I normally have to wash dhs shirts. ( he gives them the smell test, if they dont smell too new or bad from the store, he will wear them) I have to wash everything of mine.

My dds are the tag queens, they hate any and all tags normally in their shirts and sometimes their pants too.

see I knew we were "family" everyone taking care of eachtoher. Tonya has offered after a nite/day/morning of drinking to walk me as far as deck 2, (her deck) press the 1 in the elevator and push me in.. after that she says im on my own.. so when yall leave for port the next day and find me alseep in the elevator.. leave E a note on our door to let him know Im ok!
