Hey! Anyone miss me? LOL!! Life has been a bit busy around here, and I've not had the chance to check in. Did I miss anything good?
Oh, that's so sad, Kimberly. My mom is a 13-year breast cancer survivor.
Cool pictures, Drea!!!!! And ... that dress fits you looks great on you!!!
It's hard to believe that I may have a Marine at the ball next year. He swore in last Monday, and his *tentative* ship date is September 10. He really wants to ship before then, though. We'll see.
And you never know .... I had a cycle with 2 of my pregnancies ......
Cute card, Crissi!!!! I might have to check on those ....
Oh, so glad you're feeling a little better. I can't wait to hear about the u/s.
Good morning!
I have to tell you that I've been in tears much of this morning. A local CBS morning news anchor, Heather Pick, passed away yesterday at my age, age 38, of breast cancer. I didn't even watch her that often, but you could tell that she had a wonderful spirit. After watching today's 5am-7am newscast (I had recorded to watch later this morning) that was a tribute and celebration of her, I am just in awe of what a wonderful person...wife, mother, friend, and professional...she really was. Not that you would remember, but she's good friends with Jack Hanna, so he would sometimes let her travel with him to NYC for the David Letterman show. So she would sometimes be seen on camera on Dave's show bringing out animals. Anyways, her passing has really hit me.
I never even knew she had breast cancer until 2 years ago when I had a scare. I saw her story in a brochure at my surgical oncologist's office. One would never had known that she had been going through treatments. What an amazing, selfless person! So I'm going to take this opportunity to remind all you women out there to not overlook exams and be a good friend, mom, sister, and daughter and encourage those loved ones to do this too. A self exam is how I discovered I had a lump. I was very forutunate, and I want the same for all of you!!!![]()

Hey all finally up and recovered from the Marine Corps Ball. We went on Thur and well partied a bit to hard LOL, since we had a room at the hotel where the ball was we knew we only had to walk home so the drinks were flowing... on top of that Friday was my bday, so I would buy a drink for E for it being his Bday (the Marine Corps that is lol) and he would buy one for me for mine. Suffice to say Friday morning was not fun, drinking like your 21 then waking up and remembering OH ya im 31 I feel it now LOL.
Heres a few pics we dont get the profes ones back for a few weeks. (usually we get them back same night digitally... not with this company they used)
E & I
Table saved for those marines that are no longer with us, and gave the ultimate sacrafice.
Not an ebay find but almost as good Erica, $20 at Ross last yr. NOW when I found it last yr all I needed to do was loose 5-10lbs for it to fit comfortable. Well that never happened being we went on the cruise and I only lost what I put on from the cruise.. so the whole night i was having trouble breathing, E kept asking me if I need the oxygen mask LOL (it gathered at the side so it helped camoflauge my figure LOL)
and I dont look drunk at all huhand notice I still have my cruise tan
Arin hope your feeling better soon, I had all day sickness with both my boys for 6months. it sucked. I up until this am thought we may have brought some magic home with us too.But thankfully you were the only one that was dusted with pixi dust LOL.

Good morning DIS Family -
If any of you meant to get Christmas cards onboard but ran out of time (like me). Check out Disneyphotopass.com. I scanned and uploaded one of our family pictures from the cruise and used it to make Christmas cards there. I thought they were reasonable for photo cards ($16.95 for the first set of 20, $14.95 for sets after that). Here is ours:
Crissi
Cute card, Crissi!!!! I might have to check on those ....

Thanks for the well wishes ladies. I am feeling a little bit better the last couple of days. I have actually kept a couple of meals down and am getting some strength back.
I have my first ultrasound on friday the 14th, so i will know for sure how far along I am.
