I wasn't serious about the underwear.....I have a wierd sense of humor

I do this for real!!! All year, I save up socks and underwear that are starting to get a bit worn out - then pack those. As I wear them, I toss them out. Actually, I do this with other clothes too, so if you see me and look very closely, I might have a frayed collar or slight tear in my shirt. I may sometimes look like a slob, but that tattered shirt I'm wearing on Castaway Cay is going straight in the garbage bin at the end of the day!!

Also it is nice not to pack dirty underwear and re-open at home.
Also if I did not do this I probably would never buy new underwear.

I also do this with t-shirts. I get so many free t-shirts that I could care less about. Great beach wear and excursion wear to sweat in all day and then just toss.

This works great with the pre-cruise night lodging. My entire outfit is disposable.

about the underwear, I read that on one of the tips threads, to be honest I like to buy NEW underwear for vactaion, there is nothing worse than old underwear that has lost the elasticity, the places it goes...

Today DS graduated Kindergarten and tomorrow is his 6th bday When we booked the cruise he was only 4, I remember telling him you will be 6 when we cruise, I cant believe tomorrow, His bday, is 100 days from the cruise We are heading to the beach tonight until Friday, then Sat is his Karate bday party!

I didn't know whether to chuckle or take you seriously! I kept looking at your username and thinking "Well, granny panties ARE kinda big... maybe she's serious???"

How funny you should compare the "effect" that my house had on Hadley to the "effect" that IKEA has on you....because our house is very IKEA-style. We actually only own a few small things from IKEA (picture frames, vases, candle holders, etc.). Most of the large pieces in our house (shelves, coffee tables, curtains, throw pillows, etc) are all things that Jason and I designed and built ourselves (oh yes, that's right...we're VERY butch and handy! We even own a table saw!! ) However, I am very inspired by IKEA so people often see our house and think we decorated from there....which I always think is a great compliment since IKEA rocks!

Maybe you guys can come and teach Lionel how to use his? My Dad gave it to us, and we have used it ONCE. Actually, my Dad was the one who used it! I think that's awesome, Lionel's dream is to be able to make our own furniture one day. So far he has made me a plant stand it's very cute though!

After accidently going over the weight limit (I love to shop at WDW!!!!) and having to pay, my mom went out and invested in a suitcase scale! LOL!!!!

That time, I actually DID spit out my tea! I am not going to be able to look at any of the men on this cruise and not think about their underwear.
