Oh good grief, you guys are better than caffeine for getting me going in the morning!
thepanmanman: We tend to do $1-3 for the room service. It depends on how much we're getting, how long it took, etc. I'll tip more if I request a double meal for the 3 of us. If I'm ordering a tea service for one for the next morning, I figure about $2.
Your call. Tipping is entirely individual. The food is free; anything in a can (beer, soda) is not free. Water in a bottle is not free.

I still remember the first time I ordered room service. I picked and chose through the menu and ordered more food than we needed, because of the food allergies and because those two are such picky eaters. DH was freaking out and he said, "Hey, hold on a second, what are you doing???" I was completely confused, so I explained, I'm getting the lasagna, and the chicken tenders, and a hamburger for you, and a sandwich for me, and ... He stopped me and said, "There are no prices on the menu! This is Disney, so you know it's going to be expensive!!!" Um, honey, there are no prices because room service is FREE, like I told you
before we got on the boat!

What a goofball! Of course, his interpretation now is he's already PAID for the room service, so of course it is free!
