Hadley, your family is just TOO rad! Your and Rio's costumes made me smile most! You thought of every detail including nail polish, bubble gum, and rosy blush! One question.......just how did you get my beads? I hope the birthday boy had a great time!

FatCat, you have quite a list there, but the good thing is that it's reasons to keep booking, right? :confused3 Hopefully you can knock a couple off that list in about 7 months though!!

Jen, great to see you again!!! If you go to the new "Post 577", which is now Post #6 on this new thread, you'll get the quick catch-up news. If there's anything you're unfamiliar with, check out the links in that post. Certainly ensure you check out the post related to lanyards as that does require some action from you (if you haven't done so aleady). Of course the website we have is also a good place to go. Don't miss out on the Forums, too. :)

Oh yeah...I almost forgot to comment on the Big Brother episode tonight.

For those of you in Central and Pacific timezones, no worries...I'm not going to spoil anything that was on the show tonight. However, I will say I'm sorry that those of you who haven't had the chance to check out BB Afterdark will have to wait even LONGER for more big news that I thought they would have included tonight.

OK see what you guys think of this...
Last Magic cruise I crossed of several things on my list to Do.

I have 2 Disney cruises done and I still have not...

Eaten Lunch or Breakfast in a sit down restaurant

Gone into the workout Center
Used the Spa
Eaten at Palo
Seen a movie in the Theater
Been to the First Aid Facility (Happy about this one)
Shot a basket on deck 10
Been in the Teen club (Happy about this one)
Been in the Goofy Pool
Been in the Adult Pool
Been in the Hot Tub
Of the 5(?) bars on deck 9/10 ordered a drink from only 1 of 5
Wine Tasting
Martini Tasting
Beer Tasting
Chip it Golf
Vegeatble Race Cars
Sung Karaoke
BEEN UPGRADED!!!
Seen a sunrise at sea

I better start planning.

You're going to have to start working on these this cruise and then book another cruise onboard to finish it off.

I have to say though, I have been on 4 cruises and I haven't done some of these things either -

Seen a sunrise at sea (but saw some sunsets though - I like to sleep in)
Been upgraded
Sung Karaoke
Vegetable Race Cars
Beer, Wine, Martini Tasting
Been in Any of the Pools or Hottubs
Ordered a Drink in Any of the Bars
Shot a basket or a puck on Deck 10
Exercised in the workout center (looked in, liked it, went out for ice cream)
Ate breakfast more than once in sitdown restaurant
Ate lunch more than once in sitdown restaurant
Been to any show since first cruise
Been to Art Auction (although I hear you have to be VERY careful now)
Had a massage at Spa (used the rainforest though)
Had a family portrait done (other than embarkation)

Looks like I will be busy too!!! Then again, maybe not!!!!;) :rotfl:

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here and I wanted to introduce myself. I am Cathy and am traveling with my DH, DD(16) and DD(14), DD(14). We are friends with Donald & Daisy Duck and have been following the thread along with them. This will be my 7th DCL cruise, but my first 7 night cruise. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Welcome aboard:goodvibes

Hadley OMG you all look Mint! You and Marika look very Mall Chick!!

I'm pretty certain there's no one on our cruise who is also sailing the New Ship of Thieves westbound repo through Panama. Correct?

I was just looking for another meets thread, and noticed "Part 4" for their thread with the closed icon beside it. I thought "Holy smokes!!! They've been through FOUR??" Out of curiousity, I looked, and they went through 250 pages (pages, not posts) from February 10 - February 17!! Eight days! Seriously, I wouldn't have the desire, much less time, to keep up with that pace!

I wanted to post on here so I could find the thread faster!!!!

I can't wait for the cruise!!!!!

I started buying things for the fish extenders! It's so much fun when I find something that I know somebody (whether it be a child or an adult) would love!

:)

just wanted to wish everyone a great monday, especially since alot of us get a holiday today.

happy family day to my follow canadians( its a new one for us) and president day to all our friends south of the border.(doesn't the word south sound sooo nice.)
deb and alex

Good Morning all! Happy Presidents Day!!!

The kids are home from school today, but we have a lot to do. I have to register Megan in Kindergarten today!!!! :scared1: I can't believe my baby girl will start school next year! The funny thing is that she will only be there about 3 weeks before we leave for a 7 Day Double Dip Cruise to Costa Maya on the Disney Magic with all our new DIS friends!!!

Then both kidos have to go to the dentist for a cleaning. They are so excited about this one :rotfl: .

I hope some of you will have the day off and get to relax today.

Hadley - Honestly - you can send some of that snow our way! We did not even get enough this year to make a snow ball man. Grady did make a leaf angel at Paw Paw's house the last time we visited. I guess when there is no snow you just make do. :confused3 :rotfl2: I also love your 80's outfits!

Tiffany

Hey there, Amy!! I've been having fun with the random FE shopping as well! This reminds me to let you all know that Lisa (Scoutsmom) had requested a further breakdown of our FE participants by adult/child and gender. I did get that posted up on the website late Saturday night.

Happy Family Day, Deb! What a great holiday! Do most Canadians get the day off from work to spend quality timewith their families?

I'm off for President's Day, but I packed it with a couple of visits to friends, one of which is a Stampin Up! party, and I need to squeeze in a couple of errands, too. So off I go!

Have a good weeke everyone!

this is our first year we have had it and yes its a paid day off work:cool1: :woohoo:

Just throwing out another idea for Fish Extender fun....

I'm curious if there are some of you who would want to do more of a Secret Mickey exchange (like a secret Santa exchange) than the general Fish Extender fun. I recall that some of you mentioned this some time ago, and with so many people partcipating, I can understand if you prefer to concentrate on adopting one family on the cruise instead of wandering around the ship dropping off multiple little gifts. I'm thinking this option may get more of you involved by allowing you to shift your budget of time and money. This may make it more manageable for some and still not leave you and your family out of the fun.

Thoughts? :confused3 If there's an interest, I would be happy to get anyone interested signed up and make assignments since you can't pull names out of a hat yourself. :-)

That's awesome, Deb!! Well enjoy your first Family Day! :grouphug:

Hello Everyone! I regret to say that we won't be cruising with all of you, after all. :sad2: Ryan and Dana are looking at some job changes that will prevent them from sailing, so we are all going to do something else together as this was a family vacation. I wish everyone a great trip!

So--

1. This freed up two Cat 6 cabins next to each other, 6080 and 6082
(Erica of course has first Dibs :lmao: ) Maybe a couple of you will get upgrades:goodvibes

2. Someone else will have to take over as the "party cabin" and lounge!

3. Kimberly, please remove us from the activities we have listed, and thanks so much for all of your hard work in keeping us straight! (Brandie too!)

4. Drea, please thank your DH for his service from us

5. Hadley and Erik, please take us off the lanyard list, and thank you, too for all of your work in that area, as well as the logo.

Take care everyone, and happy planning! :dance3:

Last Magic cruise I crossed of several things on my list to Do.

I have 2 Disney cruises done and I still have not...

Eaten Lunch or Breakfast in a sit down restaurant..Don't have too high expectations. We did breakfast in Triton's, and it was dissapointing. Same exact offerings as BBB and it took twice as long..:confused3
Ordered a Panini....This I probably won't do, as I can't stop eating the chicken strips!!!
Gone into the workout Center...Not going to happen. I guarantee Ron will be up there by day 3 though!!:rotfl:
Used the Spa...This not going to happen either, though maybe I can scrape up enough dough to get that scalp massage everyone raves about!
Eaten at Palo....Yumm, oh I'm drooling as we speak!
Seen a movie in the Theater...Me either. No time on the shorter ones. Maybe Wall-E will be out while we are sailing....
Been to the First Aid Facility (Happy about this one)Yikes, me too!
Shot a basket on deck 10..Nope but have been up there watching the kids play..
Been in the Teen club (Happy about this one) Every time Brendan tells me about his favorite "teen" shows, I shudder. The boy is 8!!!
Been in the Goofy Pool..Too small, too crowded but fun to watch the dive-in movie!!
Been in the Adult Pool...This was nice...in the evening we had the whole thing to ourselves....durnign the day, packed. And had to ignore the nosy nellies (other guests) grumbling about me holding my mochacchino while in the pool (no, I wasn't dribbling into the water) Geez!:confused3
Been in the Hot Tub....quite hot....
Of the 5(?) bars on deck 9/10 ordered a drink from only 1 of 5..There are 5? Wow. We've been lucky to catch the servers walking around...:thumbsup2
Wine Tasting...blegh. No thanks! Not a wine connosieur!
Beer Tasting....yuk....this either...
Martini Tasting:drinking1
Chip it Golf.....??...not a golfer. Not even putt-putt. The windmills intimidate me!
Vegeatble Race Cars ?? What are those????
Sung Karaoke And be glad I don't plan to!!!!!:rotfl2:
BEEN UPGRADED!!! There's always this time.....hopefully......:flower3:
Seen a sunrise at sea...it's beautiful!!!!

Tammie - So sorry to see you go! Good luck with everything!
