Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination DisneyTeresajoys(true)version:TheEnd 1/23

Our 7yr old has been asking for a new camera to take and now I know just what to get her. I'm not going to tell her either, I'll just give it to her on the plane, she'll love it.

I can't believe, well, yes I can, how rude that photographer was to you. I would have been taking names and been on the horn w/someone the minute I was out of earshot of the kids. I get really irritated when peoplel who are in jobs like that have bad attitudes. I don't expect anyone to play brown noser w/me but common courtesy would be nice.

Awww those meanie CM's :( I'm a big wuss and I would have burst into tears if someone treated my girls like that. :(

I hope you got some more disneylike CM's for the rest of your trip

Teresa! Yikes!:scared1: What truly unDisneylike CM's you have run into this day!

And.... Pajama's???? You have got to be kidding! Why would ANYONE ever say that? How rude! And to work at Disneyworld and not know who Giselle is ...... unforgiveable! Even if you don't know who the child is dressing as, they never should have let on that!
It just pains me to see the sad and goofy looks on the kids faces. This should have been a truly magical experience for them!

I am hoping that the rest of the trip is filled with Disney magic!

Oh you've got me all riled up again! Jasmine in her pajamas? Doesn't know who Giselle is? Did this guy just crawl out from under a rock? The outfits you made are exquisite and you shouldn't feel guilty at all that you had a jerk for a photographer. At least the older girls were able to ignore then and their pictures are beautiful.

Well, I know your trip gets better later, because you meet me, lol! Can't wait for the next installment!

I am so upset for you at the sub-par FGIT's and the rude CM and photopass photographer. . . I HOPE you reported them at Guest Relations or will be writing Disney about it. That is not what WDW is supposed to be about! Clearly those people should NOT be working with children. . . .

The girls looked BEAUTIFUL! And I loved the modest Jasmine (I mean who really wants their little girl bearing their tummies!)

What?? You "have it ready" already....then POST IT silly sister! You would never make a good PI, because SHE has updated hers and all is not well!!!!! I am sorry to report that you have INDEED fallen behind!!!!! :lmao:

Here is your sister.....:moped: and way back here is you.................... :moped: (trying to catch up)...:rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: I'm loving your visual example! It's true, hers was done first and she was just waiting for me. But, I didn't have any of the photopass pictures until Tuesday, so I have an excuse!!

No, you see, in typical oldest sister fashion, I am patientally waiting for my little baby sister to catch up to me, while I sit back and let her bask in the glory of posting her trip report update first, even though my verion of this day was written weeks ago! (yes, actually, that is true.)

So, now that she has had some time to bask, without much further adoo, I present to you, My latest installment:
 See what a nice sister I have, people?!

Hey, I didn't know you had this "leader anxiety". I have no such problem, so just let me know where to go and I will be happy to lead at any time! I didn't know we were heading to the end of Main Street, but I thought you led us there just fine!

Have you ever complained about the photographer and his "helper" to anyone? I know they don't care anymore, but I'm just curious if you used your awesome complaining skillz yet.

I forgot to mention in my TR that the "helper" was tugging and pulling Tessa's hands around roughly, without asking. But, when it was time to get up onto that couch he asked me if he could pick her up to put her there. What a jerk.

I didn't know you guys were in there waiting for Tessa to come back from the bathroom!

That guy saying that he couldn't get that little girl to smile because she doesn't speak English really infuriates me!!! As if it wasn't bad enough that he couldn't be nice to us, but to throw his prejudice into the mix is WAAAY over the top. :furious: On the up side, I'm willing to be that little girl had better pictures than our girls because she couldn't understand him saying "Smile BIG".

As far as posting unflattering pictures of me, I tihnk you've already gotten me back. There's a photo of me bending over from the side in one of the above pictures and you can see every one of my 12 or so fat rolls on my stomach. I would have preferred a picture of me eating granola! :rotfl2:

My boy does have some skillz, doesn't he? Thank goodness for his entertaining photo shoot or we might have beaten that man to a pulp.

Courtney looks SO pretty in her pictures. It's so unusual for us to see her all dolled up like that. Actually, I can't think of a time that I've EVER seen her all dolled up besides this. Those are some beautiful pictures. :lovestruc

I am just speechless...and aggravated over the comments and the rudeness. Its just so upsetting and uncalled for. Grrrrrrr :headache:
In any case, the girls look beautiful in their costumes!!! And Sawyer is so handsome! I really hope the girls were able to put this experience behind them and that you had a better rest of the day!!!

I am so sorry that those CM's were rude. I totally agree with Tom in what he said. Tell all the girls that they looked beautiful, each and every one of them. I also agree that when the girls didn't smile their pictures came out much more prettier. And Sawyer, he's a ham too cute he is.

Laura

The girls looked beautiful in their costume!

Did you complain about the photographer to any one? I certainly would! that is so sad how he treated every one!

Ok. . .so I read Heather's version yesterday and was already really mad about how the photographer and his assistant treated you guys. Then I read your version this morning. They way he spoke to each girl about how they were dressed is just downright mean and uncalled for. If you didn't complain then, I would definitely send a letter now. They crossed the line big time. I am mad :furious: just sitting here thinking about it!

I hope this didn't ruin the day and the trip for the girls.

You say the word...... and those photographer people will RUE THE DAY....... I'm telling ya girl- we'll all GET 'EM!!! :furious:

Hi Theresa! Loved your sister's TR so I thought I would come over here and get your take on the whole BBB experience. WOW! I can't believe all the rude CM's you encountered in one morning! I was on the fence with the whole BBB thing to begin with but now I think I'll just try the barber shop on Main Street and take my own pics. Keep up the good work and I LOVE the costumes! You should be proud and when those girls (and Sawyer) are grown up and bringing their own kids to Disney - I'm sure they will see photos of those costumes and remember how wonderful it was (not the FGIT's).::yes::

I'm running amuk on Teresa's TR!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks for reading! It was fun giving Arminda the camera at the airport!
I can't believe I didn't get their names! I am usually pretty good with things like that. I guess I was just in shock that it was actually happening!

Awww those meanie CM's :( I'm a big wuss and I would have burst into tears if someone treated my girls like that.

Looking at the pictures, it is so sad to see their little faces.

The rest of the day went very well! :thumbsup2

Tom, thank you! Some how, having a guy post that we weren't being overly sensitive makes me feel better! :thumbsup2

Yes, I do believe they DID crawl out from under a rock! I wish I had at least got a picture of these guys!

Yes, our trip DID get much better!
And, I dare say, Arminda would agree! ;) :lmao:

Hey, you get the kids today, don't you!!! I'm excited for you! Give them a big hug from us when you see them!

I am so upset for you at the sub-par FGIT's and the rude CM and photopass photographer. . . I HOPE you reported them at Guest Relations or will be writing Disney about it. That is not what WDW is supposed to be about! Clearly those people should NOT be working with children. . . .

I did tell another photographer about them later on in the trip, but I still need to file an "official" complaint. The other photographer was appalled as well. She was very nice though.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: I'm loving your visual example! It's true, hers was done first and she was just waiting for me. But, I didn't have any of the photopass pictures until Tuesday, so I have an excuse!!
Yes, but I had to make copies of all those pictures and burn them to a DVD! ;)

 See what a nice sister I have, people?!

Oh, well, yah know, that's me, always putting other people first! :lmao:

HeatherSue;25777949 Have you ever complained about the photographer and his "helper" to anyone? I know they don't care anymore said:
Not yet, but I plan on it. I only complained to another photographer that was working back there on another day.

And, he didn't even seem to care how loud he said it about that little girl, since they didn't speak English! JERK! But, yes, they probably don't know how lucky they had it! She was such a cutie too, it upset me so much to hear the contempt in his voice for them. If I had my say, they would have been fired on the spot!

You always look beautiful to me! :lovestruc

She is a pretty girl, isn't she! I forget how gorgeous her eyes are!

I am just speechless...and aggravated over the comments and the rudeness. Its just so upsetting and uncalled for. Grrrrrrr :headache:

Thank you too! I thought they all looked gorgeous!

The girls looked beautiful in their costume!

Did you complain about the photographer to any one? I certainly would! that is so sad how he treated every one!

I guess it should be of some comfort that he was just a jerk to EVERYONE and not just us! :rotfl2:

Ok, is it bad that I am pleased that everyone is just as furious as we were? Yeah, it probably is, but it's nice to have other people confiming that your feelings weren't uncalled for!
You say the word...... and those photographer people will RUE THE DAY....... I'm telling ya girl- we'll all GET 'EM!!! :furious:
You go get em Karen!!!!!

Thanks for coming on over!

I am torn with the whole BBB thing, on one hand, Lydia DID have a magical experience (before the photographer) but, I don't know that I would risk it again. I mean, that was one good out of FIVE!

Unfotunately though, I'm guessing Arminda and Tessa will remember the bad FGITs, they like the dramatics of that sort of thing!

I am saddened allover again after reading your take on the pictures! That is just horrible! I cannot believe it!

On a side note, Dallas' eyes did the same thing, but a bit younger. I didn't quite remember when but I was looking at a picture the other day and he was about 3 1/2 and his eyes were still bright blue! Now they are hazel-ish, whatever color that is!

THe girls looked beatiful! I'm sorry that they were treated unkind by the CM's -- very unDisneylike! I hope there is better magic to come!

I was wondering how often kids' eyes change colors at such a late age!

It gets better! Really it does!

As MissCammie once told me, I AM TeresaJOY!!! after all!
