On the way to Expodition Hall, we spotted the Fairy Godmother, so we stopped to get her autograph. The FG's handler saw Lydia and exclaimed, "GISELLE!!! I didn't know you were going to be here today!" Lydia beamed, and so did I! I told the handler how happy I was that she knew who she was suppose to be. The handler said, "Of course I did, she looks just like her!" At which point, I had to tell her that I had made the dress, without a pattern...and before the DVD came out. (me, fish for compliments? never!)
As the girls were in line, look who walked up!!!
so cool!!!
They started pointing at Tessa and Arminda in their Cinderella dresses:
Then, they noticed Sawyer, in his Prince Charming outfit!!!
They exclaimed over him and made a great big fuss!!! It was so cool! Unfortunately, no one got any good pictures of this! And, or course, they were doing that just as the girls reached the front of the Fairy Godmother's line!
As we started walking to Expodition Hall, Lydia started crying, so I stopped to see what was wrong.
It seems that the Fairy Godmother had signed every one's book except for hers. I told her that we would be seeing the FG at dinner and she could get her autograph then. This made her happier.
So, we continued on our way. My Mom kept telling me to "Lead the way!"
Which caused me much stress.
Yeah, I know, I'm weird.
I really don't like all the pressure that being the designated "leader" puts upon me.
Should we go left around the castle?
Should we go right?
Should we go by the Crystal Palace or take the pathway to the left of Adventureland?
Walk IN Main St. or walk on the sidewalk???
If I tell them the wrong thing, will everyone be mad at me????
AHHHHH!!!
I don't know!!
(Just thinking about it now, makes me rather stressed!)
However, I have no problem telling Brian where to go.
I mean giving him directions!! Geesh! What did you guys think I meant???
I had told them we were all heading to the end of Main St., so I figured we all pretty much knew where we were going anyways. I then noticed that Brian was not with us, so I asked if anyone has seen him. No one knew where he was, so I stopped to wait for him.
Brian does this, he doesn't think much of taking off, or stopping without telling anyone. I have learned to not get upset about it. He always finds me. But, I wasn't sure if he knew where we were going, so I thought I'd better wait for him. We had time to sit down for a bit while we waited....and waited, and waited a little more. Finally, Brian sauntered down the path, and we were once again on our way, with me "leading" the way.
Here are Mom and David walking down Main St. aren't they cute!
We decided to sit by Goofy for a minute and take some pictures:
It was nice that David had this hat, because he was SOOOO easy to spot in a crowd! For some reason, there weren't a lot of other people wearing heavy Goofy hats in the 90 degree heat. Go figure....
When we went inside Expodition Hall, we were greeted by a CM, who seemed to know what we were doing there. I wonder how?
He gathered us around, and then, said, "Ok, I know who you are suppose to be," as he pointed to Courtney in her Snow White, "and who YOU are suppose to be," pointing to Tessa in her Mice Made Pink Cinderella dress, "and who you are," pointing to Arminda in her silver Cinderella Fairy Godmother made dress "but, WHO are you and you?" he said, in a really not very nice manner pointing to Casey and Lydia. I replied, "This is Giselle, and this is Jasmine." This is when I almost smacked him for the first time, because he replied, "Giselle? I don't know who you are and Jasmine in her pajamas!" I was pretty upset about that, for me and for Casey. Casey was pretty proud of her Jasmine costume, and I thought she made a very pretty modest Jasmine. Not to mention that I had sewn the outfit, and I was not happy that he called it pajamas. I was on the brink of tears actually. I looked over at Heather and saw that she was just as unhappy about it as me. So, for the rest of the day, I felt somewhat guilty about making my dear sweet unsuspecting niece pajamas instead of a princess outfit.
We were then led back to the photo shoot area. There was a little girl ahead of us, and another couple with their daughter waiting. The CM stood us in front of the other couple. The couple told the CM that they had been there first, and could they please go ahead of us. Apparently, they had viewed their pictures, and were not happy with them, so they wanted them redone. The CM was pretty rude to them, although I don't remember what he said. Heather then walked over to the couple and assured them that we would let them go before us. They seemed very relieved and happy to hear that. Apparently, because the other family had not gone directly to this CM, he felt that they didn't deserve to be helped?
