Great update! I loved all the interaction with Mary Poppins, she is really one of the best characters. Tessa's singing is so cute!

I asked Megan if she wanted to visit Tessa and she said, close-up? And started jumping up and down. And asking about Lydia and Arminda and what would snow would taste like. I think I have to now! I was waiting to tell them until I made final plans but she was so cute getting all excited.

OMG if Jacob visits Tessa I can NOT tell Luke! He begs me all the time to go to Tessa's house!

You're right, she did match the women in the Mexican pavilion!

Yes, I loved having 10 days! I didn't feel guilty about leaving the parks early, or worry that we were missing stuff. The 10 day ticket only cost about $20 more than a 3 day ticket, so we weren't wasting money either (besides the rediculously high parking fee, that is).

Like I have said, it was only $200 for our family to stay one more night, and that was including TWO rooms at Pop, parkhoppers, AND dining. What a bargain!

Yep, I subscriped to the Feb codes thread. I'm anxiously awaiting a code! We're staying at Pop again. I love that place! Although, if I can stay at a monorail resort for the same price, I may change my ressies. :rotfl:

I can't wait for the new year's party! If everything works out, I may be bringing a fellow Diser (Stephres) and her 2 kids. You don't mind me inviting strangers to your house, right? ;)

Why not. They can't be any stranger than any of our other friends.

:lmao:

You know I call that party the surprise party we throw ourselves, because we invite so many people and never know who is coming. LOL

Stephres - If you are reading this, you are welcome at our New Year's Eve party. ::yes::

I am really looking forward to my Reeses sundae in February!! :thumbsup2 Really, anything Reeses would do. But, they're even better when mixed with ice cream!

John just got a Reese's Flurry at McDonald's today, if you're still cravin'. It had nice big chunks of candy! :thumbsup2

I'm not sure what the point of this "rock formation to nowhere" is. Was Sarah Palin involved somehow?? :confused3:

I was totally freaked out when we first walked in. There were 4 women standing on either size of the doorway and they bowed to us as we walked in. It was a very socially awkward moment for me. What do you do when 4 women bow to you? I didn't want to ignore them. But, I didn't want to bow. How does one bow? Would I do it wrong and offend someone? So, I just said "Hi!", waved, and walked through.

First of all...Sarah Palin joke...HILARIOUS :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

2nd...if they bow to you, you bow. Just bend at the waist. If they are older than you, bow lower than they did. Ok...that's my "japanese culture" lesson of the day!

3rd...love the Mary Poppins interaction. Just one of those things that makes Disney great. Fantastic dress BTW!

4th- you don't have "/" restaurants in Michigan??? Wow! You do learn something new everyday!!!

I am such a slacker and missed posting to the last update so I had to make sure not to miss this one.

I also love the Mary Poppins dress! Too cute! Our first trip we did not spend much time at Epcot but on our most recent trip I knew about all of the characters you can find there. We also had some great character interactions. There was a huge line for Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie but they really took their time and talked to Jordan. We also met Marie, Tigger and Eeyore, Mary Poppins and Mr. Penguin and Mulan and Mushu. Steve Soares does a good job on his website with character greeting times.

Monchichi! Too funny - I have not heard that word in a long time. I also was deprived and did not have a Monchichi although I did have one of those Cabbage Patch Koosas. Those things were really weird looking.

Looking forward to reading the rest of your report! :thumbsup2

Heather i just got finished reading your TR(its amazing what you can read when your child is at school), I'm loving it. The Mary Poppins in counter was great. I can't wait for the rest of it.

Thanks for inviting my "imaginary" friend to your party! I think she's actually going to come!

I am ALWAYS craving Reeses!!

Oooh...you had a Koosa... How did you sleep at night knowing that freaky thing was staring at you in the darkness? :rotfl:

Thanks for commenting this time! I was starting to think I only had 6 readers left!

OMG if Jacob visits Tessa I can NOT tell Luke! He begs me all the time to go to Tessa's house!

Why don't you come up, too? That would be SO much fun!!

Thanks for reading Becca! I can't believe you read the whole thing!! I'm glad Jonah was feeling good enough to go to school!

I'm still here, just busy! I'm earnestly trying to catch up on all my trip report subs!!!

Very nice villas!!
 I'm sorry you miss your grandpa. I totally understand!

I totally adore the Mary Poppins dress. We LOVE her! What a magical, magical moment!

Y'all saw Mulan! WOW, we missed her. Shay Lynne LOVES that movie.

I loved seeing your World Showcase pics. We zoomed through there and really missed so much.

You seem like such a tight-knit family and it looks like you were having so much fun together. I gotta say, Henry seems pretty sweet for a Disney-hater! Lance didn't do Disney with quite the same attitude as Henry!

As always, I love your multi-media presentations. I love hearing that Michigan accent! You would think I am such a redneck if we had an IRL convo!

I love the pictures of Tessa a the house playing with the umbrella!!!!

Aww, that picture of you guys and Dad is really sweet!

I can't believe you don't remember Mexico! It's a fun one, isn't it! Tessa looks so pretty by the fountain!

Nice feet

You need to scare strangers on the Maelstrom, it's a lot more fun that way!!!!

Nice playland, but why did they have to put the rock of death in it???? Stupid thing. Sarah Palin!! Funny!

Ah yes,"Moon over Epcot"....glad you missed the show!!!

I love Sawyer's face while you were waiting for Mulan!

Isn't Mulan the sweetest!!

We'll have to try the cardboard food when we go next time!

Tessa sure does look thrilled to be meeting Snow White.

I love your bowing anxiety!!!

Munchie-chi!!!! I will always think of Ken Mohney singing that song in 7th grade science class when I think of them!

No candy for you!! (Say that in the soup Nazi voice)

I'm laughing about Henry's "happy face"!!!!

I just love reading about your magical time with Mary Poppins!!!! That was so wonderful! The video is great!!! I got all teary!!! That Mary IS practically perfect!!!

Aww, look at Sawyer sleeping in the stroller!

Charlie Brown Christmas tree farm!!!! LOL

OOOH, / restaurants! Was it in its own building and everything???

"I was helping you make money!" Too cute!!

OOH a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins!!! There aren't many of either one of those restaurants around these parts!

What is wrong with that place to have a sign but not the sundae??????? Are they ALL insane??? Or evil???

Arminda did a funny little dance and then did cartwheels all across our yard this morning when I told her you guys were really coming!!!!! We are all so excited!! I'm just hoping we don't get a big snowstorm!!!

Snow tastes like mittens.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Snow tastes like mittens.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Megan: Ewwwwwwwwww! No, I think snow would taste like ice cubes. Wait, let me go find my mittens.

If she is tasting her mittens, you are in big trouble!

Your letter about Fred has me thinking I should write a letter about Mary Poppins. But, I would be so tempted to add a little bit about the mean photographer and the not so mother-y fairy godmothers-in-traning.

Henry is pretty sweet for a Disney-hater. I couldn't ask for a better husband!

Michigan accent? ;) Don't worry, I already think you're a redneck! :thumbsup2

Oh you do have the most adorable Michigan accent! :thumbsup2

Megan did not taste her mittens, so Teresa is ok. She did put them on and wear them until it was time for school. Her mittens are little knit gloves and she has a little knit hat. She thinks she is ready for Michigan!

[Though, now that I think about it, there is one person who speaks Russian. But it's with a Michigan accent!]

Just had to ask...I know the allure of Heather's family, really I do, but why in the world would you leave FLORIDA in December and come to MICHIGAN?????
:confused3

You are welcome here in MI. You're just probably not going to like it. LOL

How many of those monchichis did they sell, anyway? Everyone seems to have wanted one, but very few had one! My friend had the bride and groom set, too! So cool! I had monkeys in clothes, but they just didn't compare to the monchichi.

We have a cici's locally. So, I thought it would be a great place to eat with 2 kids that were hungry. We like restaurants with no wait! Plus, $5- you can't beat it!

You're just trying to tease me with this talk of Reese's sundaes, aren't you? I've hardly had any sugar at all and no bread in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I've lost 12 pounds, though!!

Oh, poor Megan is in for a shock! Knit gloves don't cut it for playing in the snow. The snow sticks to them and they get all wet. My Arizonian family was absolutely miserable up here in APRIL!

If you like Michigan accents, then you would LOVE our New Year's Eve party.

Who speaks Russian? Sophia's mom (I can never remember her name)?
People come from all around just to bask in my glory, Sarah. :snooty:

Yup. Kate.
I would warn Stephres that we have quite the unusual bunch.
Except, if she knows you and Henry...I guess she sort of gets what our "median" guest would be. LOL

Actually, it's been rumored that they only reason people come to our party is to bask in YOUR glory. :rolleyes1

Of course, you stack the deck by inviting people that I know, but haven't invited, when you see them at places like the airport, or walmart. :lmao:

I know I won't enjoy it, I am quite the warm-weather gal, but I am hoping the kids are more hardier than I am! They are really excited about seeing snow in real life and think they are going to have a blast!

Median guest! :lmao: That is so funny!

Listen, I am from the south, where our idea of a party is to grab some beer and hang out at the lake until the cops run us off (no offense Henry)!

Gosh, now the pressure is on for us to have snow! LOL
Here's hoping!

They are awful cute, aren't they? Henry even came by himself one year.
He likes us, he truly likes us!

That sounds about right. Of course, we supply our own cops (in addition to Henry, we have an actual State Trooper), and we can't do a lake, as they are frozen over. Though, if our backyard floods again, we could hang out at the frozen cess pool. :rotfl:

I sure sound like one anyway!! I think you should write two separate letters: one complaint letter and one kudo letter. I would soooo do that.

Hey, what yellow snow were you referring to. Please ease my mind.
