We wrangled Sawyer into the stroller and headed off to Peter Pan. He was un-pleased about this new turn of events, so I got out the crackers!
There wasn't a line for the teacups, so Grandma and Grandpa took Tessa for a spin while Henry and I avoided the whole "let's spin until we puke" thing.
Finally, we made it over to Peter Pan. Henry went to park the stoller and I wanted to get a picture of the kids in their outfits in front of the sign. Doesn't mom look cute, too?
I'm surprised we only rode Peter Pan twice on this trip, since we had 10 day park hoppers (but only used 9 of them). The last time we were here, we rode it 6 times in a row. But, it's more crowded in May than February, so it was never a walk-on. As much as I like the Peter Pan ride, it's not worth much of a wait!
Sawyer's making quite a dent in that bag of crackers.
Henry is anxiously anticipating what is behind those doors!
Look it's Ariel! When you take pictures with flash on these rides, you can see why they're best left in the dark.
Mom and Dad got in the ship behind us, which turned out great for picture purposes!
After Peter Pan, mom and dad decided to split. They took off for Mom's favorite park, Animal Kingdom. Yeah, I think that's weird, too. But, they had a great time over there.
Looking at these pictures, it amazes me how much weight my mom and dad have lost since May! Dad was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. But, he has been controlling his blood sugar with diet and exercise. He has lost SO much weight, and so has mom! He has no belly bulge at all anymore. I'm so proud of him! If only I could follow in their weight loss footsteps!
I was hoping to have the kids meet Peter Pan and Wendy while we were there. So, we went over to Pirates of the Caribbean.
Peter and Wendy weren't around, so we went on the ride. Tessa sat on some props while we waited in line.
This time Sawyer was wide awake through the whole ride. He was pretty concerned, but didn't seem too scared. Unfortunately, there were no unsuspecting POTC first-timers to scare this time. So, the ride was pretty uneventful.
When we exited the ride, we saw Captain Hook and Smee walking to their meet 'n greet. But, we also saw a line that looked like it might lead to Peter Pan and Wendy. I really wanted to meet Captain Hook, but we opted for Peter and Wendy since the kids were all Peter Pan-ed up.
As we got in line, Peter made a run for it. He just took off running and then ran back to the meet area.
It looked like maybe he was trying to pretend he was flying, or doing something faciful. But, he just looked stupid.

The other people in line were looking at him as if they thought he may be insane.
I was right there with them.
He seemed to be very nervous and very un-Peter Pan like. He was making an effort, at least.
Peter had nothing on "Wendy". There has been some talk about this Wendy around the Disboards. We are calling "her" the "Wendy of questionable gender". The same individual also plays the "Alice of questionable gender"
She is very man-ish. She is not very friendly AT ALL. She never mentioned Tessa's Peter Pan outfit. Peter did try to get her to look at it, but she completely ignored him.
Wendy smiled as if she were in pain. I'm quite certain she must be a relative of the person who does the hiring.
In case you hadn't noticed, I was unimpressed with Wendy and Peter Pan.
We hadn't planned on staying at the park all day. Everyone was pretty tired after 2 weeks of park touring. But, I did want to get in one more thing. I REALLY wanted to go to Belle's Story Time.
I made Tessa's Belle dress with the intention of having her wear it to Belle's Story Time. So, we made a pit stop in the bathroom to change. If you think this is odd behavior, you really need to hang out with the disboutiquers more.
We made it over there a few minutes before the show started. I picked a spot in the middle row on one of the benches. I thought Tessa would be spotted pretty easily there. Although, I would have much rather sat in the shade.
We once agained entertained Sawyer with some food.
But, he really wanted my camera...
We distracted him with some Cheerios and he had a good 'ol time putting them into a little puddle on the ground.
We were busy watching Sawyer play with the puddle when I looked up to see this lovely creature.
It was Belle!!! I didn't know Teresa was going to be in the park that day, so I was happily surprised to see her! What were the odds that we both were there at the same time? Pretty cool!
We were all anxiously waiting for them to come and get the kids they chose to be part of the show. They kept choosing kids, when they finally came over and asked Tessa if she wanted to be in the show!! Yay!!
I was so excited!! Tessa was excited, but nervous. She had been looking forward to being chosen. But, I told her that there would be lots of other kids there, so she might not get to go up on stage.
