No the wonder tote is the size of the larger one in your pic and the med white is the smaller on I would guess the other huge one you saw is the size of the white large tote. I have both I can try to get some pics to show the size difference if you you like.

OMG! My DH is AMAZING!!! :cool1: I just got my birthday/Valentine's present and it another Dooney!!!

I got the mid-size in white for Christmas, and now have the large black one, as well :woohoo:......the man still surprises me 15 years later.

Ok I'm obsessed with understanding the size of the totes. So today I'm in Macy's and they have what I believe are the same D&B tote styles in leather. One is the 'medium tote' and the other is 'large tote'. That's what was on the tags. I know that the white larger one is being referred to as large tote but I wanted to know if it's really this much bigger than the medium. The picture below is the two next to each other. I know the smaller one is a little further back but the larger one is just ginormous. Like a shopping bag ginormous. I carry a pretty large bag and the smaller of these two is a good size too. Can anyone verify which size is the white 'large tote' based on this? I saw a while back a post with the white one next to the black wonder tote but I don't recall it being that drastic a difference. Any input would be great. I am going to get myself one of this in the next few weeks over the phone and I really wanted the longer straps the tote provides but if it's that big it's going to be just too big for me given that I travel and often have to consolidate my purse into my suitcase. Then I'd have to go to the cindy tote.

The large white tote is big. I would think it would be hard to squeeze it into a suitcase without bending it quite a bit.

You could squeeze a lot into the large white tote, though! I actually think it's a nice bag for traveling. Depending on what you need, you could use it as your only carry-on, rather than taking a carry-on and a purse.

Would the large sketch tote be a good size for a baby bag?

I think it is. Especially unsnapped I think it fits as much as my diaper bag does. It doesn't have a lot of pockets/compartments the way most diaper bags do, though, so how useful it is for that may depend on what you like to carry. But it _definitely_ would easily fit diapers/changes of clothes/baby blanket/diaper changing stuff.

Thanks. For the quick response. I don't need a lot of of compartments just space for sippy cup, wipes, & snacks.

Plus my things- cell phone, wallet, & other essentials.

If they don't soon come out with the new design I am going to break down and buy one of the black ones. :lmao: I really was hoping for a new design in a cross body and then maybe a black wristlet. Not sure I could just go for the wristlet if there isn't another design. :rolleyes1

I ordered a lg tote today & was told it was on backorder. For those that have experienced this, about how long untily bag ships? About how long until I receive it?

I am not going to Disney until November...do you all think they will still ahve them or should I call and order one? I really really want one!

Y'all are freaking me out! I'm leaving on Wed and I'm worried that they aren't going to have any! I finally decided to purchase one of these and told my husband not to let me back out when I get there and actually see the price tag!

Does anyone know the availability at WDW?

Jen

If you could do some pics it would be great - not a rush but would love it! Thanks!

Okay, I paid on 2/5 for a wonder tote on ebay, and it was supposed to be shipped in a large flat rate box (which I know is automatically priority mail, 2-4 days) plus it's supposed to come from NY and I am in NJ...it was supposedly shipped early last week and it has not arrived.... seller will not provide tracking and has made excuses why they couldn't provide delivery confirmation #...:headache:

My question is: How long should I wait before I let the seller know that I am going to report a problem... the end of the month? another week??
I am going to give them a chance to make it right, but I should've known better than to deal with someone with less than 99% pos feedback. It's my own fault.

yes I know we had snow up here, but i was told it was shipped a certain day and it should've been here by now, or today at the very latest.

Yeah, that is kind of odd about not providing you with the tracking info...hopefully it was just an oversight. But given that there was no mail delivery Friday or Monday, I'd give it a few more days, maybe until the end of the week.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, that it shows up sooner than later.

Hi mommylovesdisney:

Start the process now... Hopefully this forces the seller to complete his/her obligation. You want to slowly turn up the pressure... while staying as nice as possible for as long as you can. If you paid via a credit card remember you can always dispute the transaction too. Also, if paid through Paypal you can get the sellers phone number under the transaction "Details" link.

If you ship via priority mail you have a tracking number. Their reluctance to share it would be a concern with me.

I sell and buy all the time on eBay... both for personal and business. As a seller I always provide the UPS tracking number or priority mail number and delivery confirmation number to the buyer as soon as it's shipped and as a buyer I expect the same. I guess I'm in the minority though.

I hope it all works out for you,

Mark

Thanks! I know I am overly excited and anxious, but I felt that the communication wasn't good. I will still leave pos. FB for them, as long as it gets here in one piece!

Hi mommylovesdisney!

My brother sells a lot on ebay and I buy a lot on ebay. At Christmas I bought a Disney stocking holder (to replace the one my three year old had just broken). It arrived broken. My first few tries communicating with the seller made me wary. My brother told me to skip the ebay resolution center and go directly to Paypal's. Paypal controls the money. As soon as I started proceedings the seller was much more helpful. In the end it all worked out, but by being timid I allowed it to drag on a long time.

I would e-mail the seller and let him know that you are going to file a claim with Paypal unless he can provide you with the tracking information. You have 30 days from filing the claim to elevate it to a dispute (my terminology may be wrong). But either way, if he doesn't send you the info go to paypal and start the process. Once the claim is opened he will need to provide paypal with proof of shipping.

He will also be penalized $15 if he doesn't settle the situation without paypal getting involved and resolving it for him.

I like grumpycd suggestions.

Thank you for the suggestions. Ebay now has "buyer protection" but I don't know how effective it is. I hope I don't have to find out!

They always have had some kind of protection, I'm not sure what they've enhanced. But in the past at least, they really only mediated disputes. I'm also not sure how much they will refund you if they did step in. I know if it's a broken or misrepresented item they give you back less than paypal (paypal was going to refund my money but was going to require me to send the broken item back at my expense, in the end we worked it out w/o paypal's help). If you paid through paypal they are your best bet. There is a window of opportunity w/ disputes and you don't want to miss it. My dispute went on for 45 days, that's a long time to not have your money or your item. I'm really hoping that the snow has held it up in transit (it's still snowing on LI right now :)) but be proactive if the seller continues to be evasive.
