Dooney & bourke disney collaboration

When did the bags come out with the Minnie on them? I am kind of glad that they have the leather dooney and bourke piece on the bag because that makes me not want to get a new one with Minnie on it and that is good because I already have the white in the large tote! However, I may have to get a wristlet with her on it even though I already have one! I really want the wallets to be there when we go Monday and Tuesday! I will be super excited if they are there!

I love the Minnie, but it kind of makes the pattern look all scrunched up around her. It looks out of balance, I think.

I love Minnie and she is very cute on the purse, but I agree it looks very squished together. I'm sticking with my original white tassel tote thats Minnie free. But I can see why everyone would want Minnie!

I am not sure when they came out but it must have been very recent. The only ones I have seen are on ebay and I have only seen three, one being open for bid now and two that sold in the last day or so. I agree, I don't like the leather tag on the front....that is why I think if I can find a wristlet with Minnie on it that will keep me happy.

Are the wallets just supposed to be in the new brown color?

I believe they are only to be in the brown color.

I don't know, maybe I'm just a cynical, but it seems strange that out of all of bags the people on this thread have bought, none of them have Minnie on them, but the one on Ebay does? Seems strange to me and makes me feel it is a fake knock off.

I worried about that too. There are so many fakes on eBay. I would feel better if at least one person reported seeing the bags with Minnie and the leather label in the front at the parks. It seems strange that they would have a different version of the white bags when the white bags themselves have been more or less selling out.

i agree. it will be interesting to see if the new white version with minnie and the dooney leather logo show up in either backorders or the parks. please post if you get one directly from disney. this is very confusing!

Geez, I never even thought about it being a knock off!!! Duh!!! Very interesting. I guess if someone is at DW they could ask a CM about it as well.

Or call Dooney directly and see if they can confirm it's authenticity. If it's truly their bag they should be able to, no?

I've look at the Ebay pic again and I really feel like it is a fake. If you look at it close, it has like pink / red colored lines coming from the Mickey bar and instead of the ribbon with Dooney and Burke it has a Minnie. I could still be wrong, but that screams knock off to me.

Aw...I don't. I'd hate to think people received a knockoff and were cheated out of their hard earned money at Christmas. Especially now in this economy, where money is so tight. Or it could be a husband trying to buy it for his wife as a surprise. Worst part is, if it isn't authentic, they may never know or be able to get their money back.

I can like the Minnie and not need it. I'm really hoping its a new version of the purse and whoever bought those bags off ebay. just snagged it the earliest! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Just to clarify I was hoping it was a knock off on an individual basis so I, myself, would not want Minnie and be conflicted about it as I already have a white tote.

When I did a search yesterday, two others have been sold already on ebay and there was the one left we were all looking at. I also hope for purchaser's sake that they did some research before buying it because they are paying a good chunk of change for them.

agreed! i am hoping these arent fakes ... but after looking at the pics again ... i really think they are.

ive been looking through the pics of all the other white dooneys listed on ebay and dont see any others with minnie. i find that pretty discouraging ..i think chances are strong the minnie one is a fake
