Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

Several people have posted that they've been able to buy cruise line Dooney's at DLR too. Whether they're returns (technically against policy, but they do make exceptions) or whether they randomly show up in a shipment, I don't know.

They don't routinely have special bags like that in stock though, at least not that I've ever seen.

Disclaimer: I haven't had an AP until fairly recently, so most of my Dooney shopping has been done at Downtown Disney and I know every time someone has posted about finding a cruise bag it has been in the parks. I imagine we would have heard more about it here if it happened often though.

I have an AP and am there at least once a month and have never seen exclusive bags. I imagine they are purchased as soon as they are put out. My mom didn't stick around to see if the lady purchased the bag but Im pretty sure she did.

I told my mom she should have bought it if the lady didn't.

Thanks, Cats Mom! I'm not a big poster (not much Disney up my way and sadly, I haven't been to the parks in quite some time) so it's nice to be remembered

But, I do keep up with all of the news here ... my daughter and I have modest collections (to this point, I think the DL Kristen is still my favorite -- love the print)! And, I do hope that the weekender makes a return . . . but, it has been gone for a really long time

I do like the look of the "retro" bags and am anxious to see the "button" design, too! No trips planned to the parks anytime soon (boo) so I love when all of you post from your trips

Awesome, thanks for sharing! So....is it all leather? Is it all brown or are there subtle colors embossed on it?

Makes me wonder if there's still another one coming out though, doesn't look like the name "buttons" fits it, kwim?

Sheila this purse just might be added to my collection. I just remembered I no longer have a sketch purse I use since my white sketch 1 purse is not looking too good. This is a great year round color and subtle at the same time. Hoping to see it in person at WDW during my June trip.

My family was with me and I was dedicated fast pass holder... they weren't putting up with much shopping time. That doesn't mean I won't go back later this week.

I didn't get to look as closely as I would have liked, but yes I believe it's embossed leather. No colors, just shades of brown.

Personally I really like that it's Disney, but more a more subtle design.

I think this one is just a bonus. Hopefully we'll get a peek at the new buttons design soon.

To be honest I didn't even look inside. I blame my family and those darn fast passes.

The pictures I've seen of the Aulani look like it has the same snap closure as the regular sketch so I'm guessing this one does too.

If someone else hasn't posted before then I'll look closer and verify next time.

I've been using my WDW anniversary messenger bag the majority of the time since last June. The other day I noticed that the part of the purse that hits my body (I wear it as a cross-body) has become discolored/dirty...sort of a blue-ish/black-ish tint to a patch about 4"x4"... I don't know if it's dirty or if like my jeans have discolored it (I wear jeans almost every day).

does anyone have any recommendations on cleaning it? I guess this is why I should alternate my bags more often... I tend to just wear the newest one until I get a newER one... And Ive never really cleaned any of my Dooneys...

Has anyone seen any of the new Fantasy Cruise Dooney's? The official photo is not very good. The background colors really detract from the purses. I have seen some photos people have put online where the design looks really nice and others not so good. Going on a Fantasy cruise next winter and wondering if I should be saving my pennies or no

Thought I would share: just got my best friend her first D&B Disney bag (well.....her first D&B bag, period!). I bought her the tan pop princess bucket bag. I am so happy she loves it. I came home with one in October and I felt bad when her hubby wouldn't let her get one at Christmas when they were there. So, I did what any bestie would do: gave my best friend something to smile about.

I'll have to post pics of my D&B bags. I have become *slightly* addicted since our October trip. Hubby says I'm not allowed to buy any more. But what he doesn't know........

Hey, all. I've been a longtime lurker of this thread and decided my Dooney collection has gotten large enough that I am officially obsessed. So here I am!
I had my eye on the 40th messenger bag for a long time, but the new retro iPad case has totally usurped the messenger bag! If only I could get out to Disneyland ...
