Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

Has anyone had to send their Disney dooney in for a repair? I did register the purse today (bought the purse in Sept '11) - so it should still be covered by the 1 year warranty, I think. I've had to have my coach bag repaired before, but I've always gone into a store and the store has facilitated getting it into the system and sending it off. Dooney's site says to just send it in to them in insured mail? Has anyone done this? Or can you go into a store like with Coach?

TIA!

I called them, they told me where to send and to include a letter stating what the issue is. They'll review it and then mail you a letter after they examine it telling you what they'll do. Do you mind telling us which bag you have and it's issue?

I followed the instructions on site and mine was repaired and returned.

Did you include your product registration info in the letter anywhere? Or is the bag number on the tag inside the purse enough for them to look up the registration?

I have the Balloon Pouchette, and this weekend one of the fasteners on the side popped off and it won't stay on anymore. I'm not sure what happened to cause it, as I've been really careful with the bag. Here's a pic that better illustrates what I'm talking about :)

I had this exact issue with the black Minnie Bow pouchette. It happened to the fasteners on both sides, just a week or so after I got the bag. I called Disney.com and they sent me a replacement one. I have had the new one for several months now with no issues.

Hope you get yours fixed!

I have been in WDW since Thursday :woohoo: The only two places to have the new brown leather bags are TrenD and World of Disney, both in DownTown :goodvibes Here are some photos for you to enjoy :dance3:

All styles of the 40th bag are available for the first time in a long while and the only place to have any colored sketch letter carriers is Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom :cloud9:

Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom used to have two displays, one in front and one in the back of the store but they did away with the back one to make it all pins

I can't believe how many 40th anniversary bags there are! Too bad I won't be there until June (unless I can sneak in a trip before then).

I have not seen all the 40th anniversary styles all out at the same time for quite a while :yay:

What a great selection is available at WDW. I so want a 40th anniversary bag. Hope they are still around when we arrive in September.

Also looking forward to....as in hope and pray for a Epcot October 1st 30th anniversary purse.:banana:

Mlittig Thank you for posting the pictures and taking the time to photograph them for us all. :grouphug:

Yeap, thanks!:thumbsup2 I wonder if any other style bags will come out in the new brown leather bag? That tote seems big. Is it bigger than the Cindy style?

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I don't remember adding any info. I had the bag registered and I think I made sure that my letter had all of my contact info that I would have used to register it with. Dooney is actually really easy to deal with and their customer service is pretty good and quick. The only hang up can be if you need an replacement because they don't keep Disney stock on hand. It all goes to Disney so replacements get a little crazy. I would think they should be able to fix it for you though...

Pictures of the new patterns are posted on Zannaland.
Thanks for pointing that out! :)

I can't decide if I like those or not. I don't love them right off the bat, so that is probably a good thing!
Same here! :thumbsup2 I like the buttons one better than the charms, but definitely like the DL retro design MUCH better...too bad they didn't do one for WDW. :(
