Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

My DH must have gotten tired of me dragging him into shops to drool over the Dooney's. I am now the very proud owner of:

(Actually one that looks similar to this, not a picture of the actual purse)
I am LOVING it. I like the size and the way it "fits" me.
I have never owned a purse that needed to be registered.

That was my 1st Disney Dooney too!

So awesome!!!! Isn't a wonderful feeling!

Now, world from the wise! These purses are addictive. Enjoy the one you have, but it will get "lonely" and will want playmates in the closet!

Yep, I've got 4 now and there are at least 3 others I plan to buy soon.

I have my eye on a cherry red patent leather satchel that's on special on the Dooney and Bourke site right now but I think I am going to be good and keep my fingers crossed that a new Disney Dooney pattern will come out soon. I'm itching for a new Disney Dooney but there just hasn't been a print that I HAVE TO HAVE since the 40th anniversary print. Whoever suggested a Food and Wine Disney Dooney has the right idea. I would love that. DH and I go every year during the festival so that would be perfect for me!

Thank you! I have been to Disneyland as a child 3 times. (my grandparents lived in L.A.) and to Disney world once many years ago. So it will be so fun to go back with my own girls. We are all very excited!

Just got the new comic strip Dooney and I love it, with the red trim....adorable! Now I can't decide whether to carry my black Minnie bow purse of the new one...they need to stop coming out with so many purses. I love them all!

Do they ever continue the designs after an event? Do we have any hope that they will make that print available for the public in the future? After all, then Disney & D&B can continue to make money on it; not just EBay sellers. Thanks!

My guess is that both the Tinkerbell and Princess marathon bags will be available to the general public (without the marathon medallion, of course). It just doesn't make sense to spend all that time and money producing just a few bags to be sold one day (or rather one HOUR, as it turned out ). I'm betting they will be introduced in the spring, since they both look very springy to me.

Thanks for the welcome and the quick answer to my question! I am soo not a fancy purse person: $40 at Penney's is about my speed. And change to fit an outfit? I'm doing good to change with the season! But that Princess design is just absolutely perfect. So I'll be sitting here with the rest of you praying for the Disney Magic to come thru! And hopefully in time for my May trip! Thanks again!

That's funny, my great-grandma lived in the LA area and I went to DL three times before I was 6. I really want to go back, but the flights to WDW are cheaper and there is more to do.

Your girls are at a great age to enjoy WDW so I imagine you will have a fabulous time! I only wish I was leaving MN in 8 days to head for Disney. I really can't complain since we've had such a non-winter this year. I work in the schools and we start Spring break on Friday so I've really got the "itch".

You'll have to let us know how your trip went and if you buy any purses!!!
