For those who care to know I got today my rebuy of the Princess tote. I love it. I already took the tags off and have used it all day. I am so glad I rebought it and I can't believe I never used the first one I hadI always have to learn the expensive way Because of course this one cost more than the one I had and sold it for. Anyway, happy now
Another note, I am feeling completely left out after reading all the cc holders everyone is getting on the facebook page. I had three and sold them all thinking I would never use it and now ofcourse I wish I had one and if I get one now I will probably pay way more on ebay.I really am too much.

I think it's time to change to my princess bag. I just changed jobs and don't really like where I have to store my purse so I have been only carrying a VB id holder with my DL, check card and a little cash. I work .7 of a mile from my house so I just go home and get my purse if I need it. It has been a weird thing for a comfirmed purse addict such as myself. I miss my former co-workers giving me the business about how many purses I have.

You are right, we should all feel like a princess. I would feel naked without my purse, but since none of my friends get my purse thing I wouldn't personally mind them not asking, "is that a new purse?"

I was thinking the same thing about the Leap Day purse when I was looking at all the other special merchandise they have out for today.

Still waiting for a shipping notice for the order that I placed last Friday!

Hi everyone! Newbie to this thread. I ordered my first dooney bag during the recent 25% off sale and it arrived yesterday. I ordered the comic strip satchel and I think it is gorgeous in person! However, I do have a couple questions. First, my zipper is sticking a bit at the end and I can't close it without pinching the sides of the bag to get it started. Would this be normal? And also, I am a bit disappointed in the placement. I had really hoped to get a full princess minnie design on at least one side of the bag and I didn't. I know that may seem stupid, but it's disappointing to me. What do you do if the placement isn't quite what you hoped?

What I do is order 5 bags. Then I keep the one I like the best and return the other 4.

Welcome! First off, you have come to the right place. Lots of us here are very picky about placement on our bags. We're a little on the nuts side, actually!

I know that there are a few girls on here that have dealt with defective bags. That might be the best way to go for you. Call Disney and tell them that the zipper is not working right. Maybe they will exchange it for you and you will get lucky with the placement the next time.

If not, you could send it back for exchange anyway and hope that the next one is more to your liking. Or, if you are ok with spending some money upfront you can do what PP suggested and order a few of them and just return the ones you don't like. The shipping fees can get expensive if you do that though too.

I agree with HockeyMomNH. Call them and tell them the zipper is defective, they should pick yours up for free and send you at a new one at no cost to you.

Thank you HockeyMom and grumpycd! I called and they are sending UPS to come and pick it up. As much as I don't want to wait for a new one, I'd rather have one with a better zipper and hopefully better placement. Keeping my fingers crossed.
