Sounds like the wallets have been out for a few days

DH was with the friend who just got back and bought me the Kristen 40th on Monday. Just informed me that he said something to the effect of, "Yeah, they had these matching wallets but I didn't even want to ask."

It's possible he was thinking of the wristlets but either way....I'm glad they are out now and I can't wait for a picture! It's probably better that it wasn't there because I really don't need to be spending even MORE money on this new obsession!

I think you look at it as "stepping up & taking one for the team" & buy the wallet - & post the pics since no one's done that yet.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get down there before my next "scheduled" trip - which is in November - 'cause I can't wait for my new Dooney! I was talking to someone from Disney tonight (had to some info with them) & had mentioned about suggesting a whole separate Dooney store for the new Downtown Disney. He had no idea about all the "Dooney talk" going on & said he would mention it to his supervisors.

I think all disney and Dooney have to do is come to disboards and see that this is our 3rd thread! Not only that, we also have the facebook page We are truly their "target group" It would be great to have a store solely for the disney dooneys instead of looking everywhere in the parks as well as downtown disney looking for the perfect placement.

The 40th anniversary messenger, wristlet, bucket and letter carrier can be found at Trend-D and WOD in Downtown Disney. Both stores also have the wallet. I was able to take a couple of pics tonight but won't be able to post until I get home tomorrow night. When I was at WOD yesterday they didn't have any bucket bags out but I saw one there tonight. I didn't find any wallets in EPCOT or MK. In fact they told me they weren't out yet. I had to tell them they were.

Ok...this has been more difficult for me that it should have been so please excuse me if they are not as clear as they could be. I would love for you to post photos of your messenger bag....maybe I would like THAT one as my 40th Anniversary bag!

This is my favorite bag so far. I have the white Sketch and the Princess Satchel. I am worried that the sketch is yellowing. I really never liked the Satchel because even though the zipper is gorgeous it is annoying in that it is a pain in the butt to get to my stuff...and the whole bag is just a little on the small side for me.

This Bucket Bag is the greatest!!! (for me)

Vellamint - I have the same key. I also have the Minnie one. I couldn't decide which one to get so I had to get both. I'm having the same problem with selecting Disney Dooney's. Also, I noticed the 55th bucket bag on Disney Shopping has a leather trip at the bottom as well as at the top. My 40th bucket only has it at the top as does your 55th. I wonder if the picture on Disney shopping is an old style.

The Disney Dream purse I have is called a Satchel & was $275.
The leather on one side says "Dooney & Bourke est. 1975"
The leather on the other side says "Genuine Florentine Vacchetta Leather"

That would be awesome if there was a one-stop shop for all Disney Dooney! But seriously....you would think they would have people working for disney specifically to find out what the demands of the fans are for. How could they NOT know that there is a demand for these bags? They sell out in like 2 days!!

I didn't like this style until I say it "in person" in Dec. I have been wanting it every since. (I had already bought the white balloon tote and the blue letter carrier when I spotted the Princess - I had to use soom restraint)

Just ordered the Princess Tote Today. Sailing on the Dream and hoping to get a Dream bag and some sort of small 40th anniv. bag. I've lost 35 lbs since Sept so that is my justification for the bags. - Spending all that junk food money I am saving.

Congrats on the Princess purse & the weight loss! The purses are a wonderful reward!!! So what's your approach to losing weight?

Anyone else bummed that there aren't feet on the bottom of the bucket?

It's still the bag I want, but I really like to have something between my bag and whatever it sits on.

I use a purse hook. I found it at the Dollar store.

I was just going to suggest a purse hook. You beat me to it. I ended up getting the one from Disney. It folds very small. It was hard to get in the habit since I hadn't used one until recently, but now that I have, it's great!

So one of my dreams last night was arriving at Epcot on our first day and buying the 40th messenger and wallet!

It was a great dream b/c then after we all went and had lunch at the new restaurant at the Mexico pavilion.

Just counting the days until March 8th!

No! You are not the only one!! I LOVE it. I can't believe these bags. I never ever cared about bags. Even back in the double income no kids days, with Coach right out the back door to my office in NYC, I was the only one who did not have one and I would laugh at the "idiots" that would spend their money on a bag. LOL!! If they could see my now. I would have a lot of explaining to do. LOL!!! Love the cruise bag!!!
