Thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone! And yes, I definitely now realize just how easy it is to become addicted to these bags. I'm thinking I may want to get a sketch tassel tote, as well. You all are horrible enablers, but I don't mind

Hey, I just looked on the Disney website and they do have that purse, Disney sketch tassel tote on there. It is smaller than the wonder tassel tote and it comes with a longer strap if you want to use it as a crossbody or just carry it by its two smaller handles. If that is the one you are thinking of maybe you can just exchange it. Keep us posted

I saw that too...that is probably the size I thought I was getting...silly me for not checking dimensions and assuming since they were both Tassels totes they would be the same size.

I already have the Medium Sketch Tote and wasnt real keen on getting the same pattern in a different style though......

Help!!! I got my sketch Lucy in the mail today, and I'm not sure I'm crazy about the placement...it has it's good and bad points, and I was just wondering what you guys thought!

Here is the front:

I like that Minnie and Dumbo are on the front, and the Cheshire Cat, who is hiding behind the price tag, but I don't like that crown, it seems like it takes up too much space. I like the back a little better than the front, since the castle is on it, and both Mickey and Minnie...

Should I keep it, or should I take my chances and hope for something better and send it back? What if I get something worse when I send it back??? Ughhh!!!

Just opened up the sketch Lucy I ordered the other day, and haven't decided how I feel about the placement. I love the castle, Tink, and Mickey on the front, but am disappointed there is no Minnie. She's completely obstructed by the handle on the side and cut off on the bottom. Not sure if this one is a keeper yet. I definitely love the style of the Lucy now that I have seen it in person. I wish it would show up at the parks so I could hand select the perfect placement. Hope the posters who said they were expecting bags today all get their ideal placement.

I actually LOVE this placement! The front looks a lot like mine. My priorities were castle, Mickey, banner so the one you have would be great for me but if Minnie is your priority.....you have to go with what you want!

My suggestion, if you don't LOVE the purse would be to order another one if you can and see what placement comes. I ordered 2 at the same time and my mom bought the extra for my sister. But I would've sent it back, or maybe you'll find someone here or on the FB page that would want to buy it. The LUCY is really tough to get good placement. What you order might be worse than what you have, particularly if you're OK with this one. The back side of mine has my PERFECT placement, the front i'm ok with. As it turns out I seem to carry my bags backwards most of the time. I frequently find my 40th bucket on the wrong side, yet the front has my PERFECT placement. Good luck!

I agree, my focus goes right to the crown. I always order 5 at a time, keep the best and send the others back.

I need some input. What do you all feel about the Princess print for older women. I have all boys and they are all teenagers but one and I am wondering if I am just too old to carry around the Princess East West tote. I saw somewhere that the print was made with teenagers and young adults in mind. Thanks for your honest input.

I have the princess bucket bag in the lighter color print. I think that the pattern is pretty subtle really, at least in the light color. I love it.

Oh, and my oldest is starting college in the fall, so I guess that qualifies me as an "older woman" too!

Oh that makes me feel better. By older I meant over 30. From then on I don't think there is any distinction. I love the princess theme and from a little girl I have always dreamed of being a Disney princess and had memorized and sung often, "Someday my prince will come" and I did marry a prince who loves Disney and even slightly with enthusiasm encourages my Dooney addiction, but I also always worry if I am acting my age And the 4 boys in my life are no help in these matters at all and I have only you guys who fully understand my Disney purse addiction. I have one friend who doesn't even carry a purse, imagine that, I'd be lost. I have friends who like Disney but don't understand my love for it. So, thus, I am glad for my dis friends and their input and enthusiasm.

I am waiting for my medium sketch tote, and if I can have Tink and the Castle in front like your Lucy, I will be perfectly fine with no Minnie....but that just proves one girls perfect placement is another's not so perfect placement! If you are not totally happy. I would return it.

I wish I had ordered 2 or 3 of them, but that simply did not occur to me. I should probably get my bag on Tuesday. still hoping for that

I was so excited yesterday. I had my first Disney Dooney siting (well, other than at Disney of course). It was at my local Target store. I would have loved to walk up to the woman and say something, but DD17 was holding me back. I suppose rightly so. I saw her from a little of a distance and I didn't want to look like a stalker.

When we bought our last new vehicle, the debate started over who got to drive it. Technically, I usually end up driving the "new" vehicle, but dh was really lobbying. I just looked at him and said, "I get to drive it, I am the princess!!!" He knew it was all over right there!

I have the East/West Princess Tote and i love it! It is so bright and cheerful for spring and summer. And honestly the colors match most of my wardrobe (though for me it is just the slightest bit too small.) I think you should let your inner princess show and enjoy it!!

I love it. I know what you mean about queens being evil, but when my boys were younger they always were playing knights and then they would come up to me and take my hand and kiss it and say "My lady, my queen" after that I was always called and treated like the queen. I have very gentlemanly boys. Anyway, the queen stuck.

well i have to chime in here. i am so glad you all brought up this topic. i have been holding off on the princess tote for the same reasons the OP said and now i feel so much better about buying one! my ds is off to college this year too and i was worried about being too old for this pattern. a great big thank you to all who commented. i am off to find this princess tote! ps, i love disney and dh goes along with it to humor me. now i have to convince him it's ok to go back to wdw without a kid in tow. wish me luck
