Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Those of you with wristlets (any Dooney wristlet), do you ever carry your wristlet by the strap? Does the snap on the flap every come undone? I would really like a Disney Dooney wristlet but I already have a Dooney hearts wristlet that I never use because I'm afraid if I carry it by the wrist strap the snap will pop open and all my stuff will fall out.

I also carry mine by the strap all the time! Even in themeparks, no issues at all.

I was at DL yesterday and Vault 28 had every style of the 55th pattern. I do like it more in person than in the pictures but am not going to be getting one.

New update - sort of.

As of about 10pm last night, WoD was completely sold out of DL 55 letter carriers again, and Vault 28 only had 1 left. Any bets on how long that 1 will last? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's already gone. Crazy, huh?

I wonder if it will take another 3 weeks to get DL 55 letter carriers back in stock again? You'd think they'd realize how popular they are and ramp up production a bit.

Has anyone heard if any of the lines other than the Princess will be limited edition? I have been looking on ebay for a blue/purple wristlet and a 55th wristlet/cosmetic bag (just browsing have to wait till payday) and I noticed that many of the sellers are listing the colored sketch pattern as limited edition.

BTW: In case anyone is interested I have a green wristlet with great Tink placement and a DL 55th letter carrier that has great placement but it does NOT have full pics of mickey and minnie on the front (I know that's what a lot of people are looking for)but it's a beautiful bag that Hawky7 got for me but I can't have both the tote and the letter carrier. I'm trying to get rid of these so I can get the DL 55th tote. Anyway, just trying to possibly avoid the ebay fees which are horrendous these days (I don't know how most of the ebay sellers are making a profit unless they are getting AP or CM discounts). Price would be retail+tax+shipping just what I paid.

i want to buy a new bag while im at WDW in 42 days (HOORAY!) But im not sure what to do...i like the large sketch tote (and i just sold my cindy tote to help fund one!) but id really prefer it in a "colored sketch" so should i wait and see what happens and hope more styles are released in the colored sketch? or just buy the large tote off ebay?

While I was in Vault 28 I saw a lady looking at the 55th print and she finally ended up getting the LC style. I tried the tote on and I also thought the straps were too small. I really like the messenger style but would like it in a different pattern.

I just read this on the Disney Parks Blog:

The limited edition Princess Collection will have five handbag styles to choose from: Tote, Bucket, Satchel, and a Wristlet in either black or white versions of the Pop Princess pattern. Fashionistas will have the first opportunity to purchase The Pop Princess Collection exclusively online at DisneyParks.com/Dooney before it hits our Disney Parks.

If you don’t have the chance to get it online, then be sure to keep an eye out at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts where the Pop Princess collection will launch in select merchandise shops such as Tren-D and Disney Vault 28 later this August.

So I guess they will be in the parks soon.

You can get some great deals on the large sketch totes on ebay right now. I would say just go ahead and buy it then if you change your mind sell it. I bought and resold a few wristlets back when stock was changing frequently on ebay. I would find one that I thought was perfect then find another even more perfect a few days later. Right now stock on the colored sketch pattern on ebay is pretty stagnant so I'm still looking for a blue/purple wristlet with no luck. I think I have finally convinced myself to part with my DL letter carrier that Hawky got me, I really want the tote and I can justify the cost only if I let go of the letter carrier.

That is likely true. First we had the sketch, then the colored sketch, and then DL 5th. All of those were great and appealed to a pretty broad base. While I don't think the princess pattern is horrible it's definately not for me. I think those will go to clearance pretty quickly.

I was thinking of maybe purchasing the black wonder tassel tote bag from disneyshopping.com and the description states a brass snap...does the wonder tassel tote have a rainbow zipper I really like the look of the tassel tote but I want one of the styles that has the rainbow zipper. Online, it states the barrel style as having the rainbow zipper but doesn't mention it in the description for the tassel tote. Anybody know?

Also, I'd like to have a purse before my trip but do you think I should wait and pick it out in person? Thoughts? We leave September 21st.

My black wonder tassle tote has a rainbow zipper. It does not have a brass snap, or a snap at all for that matter.
