Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Morning all, just wanted to bump this to try and get an answer..Thanks!

We were at WDW 2 weeks ago and we saw them at Tren-D and WOD at DTD and Uptown Jewelers at MK. My DD bought a pink one and loves it.

I agree with you and that has been my experience as well. I never buy from a seller with a lot of negatives either.

There are some very good eBay sellers that sell the Disney Dooney and Bourke. One of them let me buy on the side and even picked up some flip flops I really wanted. I had bought some last time I was at Disney but they needed to be replaced.

I am curious to see if they release a new pattern before Christmas. We are going to WDW the week of Christmas and I want the discount from either the counter service coupon or if they have a discount for AP holders. I am taking my two kids without their dad-this will be an experience. Luckily, my dad lives close by and he is meeting us there. Thank God for grandparents

Husband leaves for Afghanistan in 8 days Please keep him and all of the other Americans over there in your prayers. After what happened to the American doctors I am even more nervous.

I too, wonder if they will release a new pattern, they sure seem to be popping them out left and right don't they??




Hey so on the disneyblog today, it says that the pop princess collection is LIMITED edition... Not that I like it, but I know many do, so just wanted to let you know that the official word from disney is that it is Limited edition... Check out disneyparksblog if you want to read it.

Maybe they were monitoring our thread, noticed that there didn't seem to be a whole lot of interest in the princess collection, and decided "hey let's make it a limited edition and see what that does."


I actually really love some of the bag shapes in that collection, I'm just not as crazy about the pattern.

HAHA!! Right?!?! If they were smart, they would read this blog to get ideas... and let us see pics before they decide to release them, so we could have said H#@L NO to the princess bags!!! I wonder if you can email them... and we could just insert a link that says, if you want to know who half your clients are, we are here, and here is what we want!

Ebay is a dangerous place! I put a best offer in on a DL cosmetic bag thinking there was no way it would get accepted and promptly forgot about it. Four hours later I come home to an e-mail saying I won it!

I'm really excited It was still expensive since it was a free gift but it was really cheap considering what the others have gone for.

Anyway, I just needed to share! I really do love this pattern!

I just found this thread and fell in love with those purple DB bags! (I believe they're the letter carrier style?) Though I've never paid those kind of prices for a bag, I might just have to break down and get me one when we go to WDW this Nov.

There's actually a dooney outlet in Orlando? Do they carry any of the disney bags or just plain bags? Since we won't have wheels when we go down to Orlando will it be worth trying to find the outlet? (Taking the bus..)

I have NEVER bought designer purses or paid more than $30 for a purse.... until these came out! Bought my sketch tassel and wristlet when we went in March. Then stayed away from this thread, had an impromptu trip, just me and DH, in July and saw the colored messenger bags... my favorite color is PURPLE and when I saw the purple messenger sketch i HAD TO HAVE IT!! It was the only purple at the store we were at (MK, I believe)... kept telling DH we shouldn't spend the money, but yet I wouldn't let go of it either... so he bought it for me.

Oh, I don't care that you child has a Dooney, the wow just popped out cuz I was 20 something before I had my first one.

I was 40 before I had my first Dooney! Got my sketch tassel and wristlet on our trip this past March! First Dooney I've ever owned!

I do believe that the letter carrier is still sold out at the parks (someone local, correct me if I'm wrong) so your best bet is ebay for that.

I was at DL yesterday and Vault 28 had every style of the 55th pattern. I do like it more in person than in the pictures but am not going to be getting one.

After seeing the colored Sketch in person I don't like it as much as I thought I would (which is a good thing ). I have decided that I have to have a Black Tassle Tote (I think it's the Wonder pattern, the one with the colored Mickey's). I loved this bag and it fits so nicely on my shoulder. I have the tassle tote in the sketch and it's a little too small for an everyday purse but I still love the design.

I plan to "reward" myself with it next month after I finish the Disneyland Half Marathon.

OK seriouisly you guys lol...... I bought the med white sketch in feb ...my sister bought me the white wristlet ...I just asked a neighbour to bring me the blue wristlet .........and I'm going in sept and still deciding on wich one to buy when will that madness stop
also am I the only one ...but I did use my med sketch only ( maybe 12-14 times this summer ) why would you ask ????? I dont want to haver it dirty or stained ...now that is D&B madness ....do you use your D&B everyday ????

I haven't stopped using mine since I got it. I will say that since it got a stain on it I have lurked on ebay looking for a good deal on a replacement...just in case.

I have used mine everyday since I got it mid May and I have 3 kids grabbing on me and my bag and walking over it in the car etc.. It still looks just as good as the day I got it. I love it and I get compliments everywhere I go. I did notice that the handles are looking kind of dirty so I'm going to look around and see if I can figure out how to clean it. I beleive that dooney has cleaning instructions on their website but as far as the white sketch part of the bag goes it still looks brand new, even the bottom is perfectly clean!

Those of you with wristlets (any Dooney wristlet), do you ever carry your wristlet by the strap? Does the snap on the flap every come undone? I would really like a Disney Dooney wristlet but I already have a Dooney hearts wristlet that I never use because I'm afraid if I carry it by the wrist strap the snap will pop open and all my stuff will fall out.

I carry my wristlets by the strap all the time never worried about the snap it is very strong. It is what I take when I am just run out quickly otherwise it lives in my large sketch tote.

Are you asking about the 55th bags? If so, the tote is the largest of the 55th bags, but the handles are very short. The messenger is the medium bag and it has a very long adjustable strap. I guess it depends on how you like to wear your bags. From what I understand, the 55th tote is not very comfortable on the shoulder.

Thx poohbear158! I am talking about the 55! I might be ok with the messenger. My husband and I work together so I carry all the "extra" stuff and my current Disney D&B has been a challenge to say the least!

I have the DL55 tote and it's huge. I love it! The straps are short but it still fits on my shoulder alright. It's nice to have all that extra room
