My black wonder tassle tote has a rainbow zipper. It does not have a brass snap, or a snap at all for that matter.

Hmm...how odd. I wonder why it's described that way on disneyshopping

I was thinking of maybe purchasing the black wonder tassel tote bag from disneyshopping.com and the description states a brass snap...does the wonder tassel tote have a rainbow zipper I really like the look of the tassel tote but I want one of the styles that has the rainbow zipper. Online, it states the barrel style as having the rainbow zipper but doesn't mention it in the description for the tassel tote. Anybody know?

Also, I'd like to have a purse before my trip but do you think I should wait and pick it out in person? Thoughts? We leave September 21st.

Are they still giving out those 20% off coupons at the bottom of the receipts at the quick service restaurants at WDW? Can you use them on Dooneys? What about the AP discount?

Yes, the discounts are still printing on receipts, but from what I understand they are random.

Yes, you can use you AP discount and/or your Disney Visa discount... you can't use both, just one or the other. I believe the only place you can use your AP and/or Disney Visa discount is at World of Disney.

You can use your AP discount at mostly every store. You are correct about the Visa! I might get a Dooney on my trip in TWO days!!

The only brass on the outside of the Wonder tassel bag are the rivets the tassel is woven through.

OK, I am a Dooney addict who is loving the Disney line. I have the original (edition 1) sketch, the wonder tote and the Micky faces which was awesome for the summer. I will have to se the princess bag pattern in person before making a decision on that one. Don't care for the Disneyland 55 print. I have that tote style in a giraffe print trimmed with red leather and love the style but not feeling the Disneyland print. I plan to get the Disney cruise tote bag on our cruise in December. Love the colored sketch colors but I don't care for the style of them yet. Hoping they come out with larger bags in these great colors. Long story short, I don't know how many of you ever catch QVC, but the TSV on 8/15 with be a leather Dooney Logo Lock Hobo. I got it in the ivy (deep green for fall and winter) and the t'moro brown. You can preorder. Mine came today and they are beautiful. These bags come with a large change purse and a key fob. The leather is awesome. Wonderful bags for 224.00 and 5 easy pays. The number is A211280. Just wanted to let my fellow Dooney fans know about this. They are so worth the money and fit perfectly in with my Disney Dooneys!

I've actually had a few CM's combine my AP discount and my Disney Visa discount. The only store that I've come across that wouldn't take my AP discount was at the store at AKL-Kidani. I'm sure there are others but most of the stores in the park you can use the AP discount.

We were able to get the AP discount (10% with a regular AP and 20% with a Premium AP) at MANY stores at WDW in March and June. I learned to just ask everywhere.

Browsing around in most all the stores and gift shops in the World is a hobby of mine . I can't begin to remember all the places I saw Dooney bags, but for sure I remember WoD and Tren-D at DTD, MouseGears at Epcot, a shop on Main St. in MK whose name I don't know, and in the deluxe resort gift shops. Also one of the shops at the Studios and I'm pretty sure AK too.

I didn't buy a Dooney in the World but was offered the AP discount everywhere I shopped, which was WoD and the resort shops. Also got the AP discount at DL in WoD and Vault 28.

Hey Hockey Momma!! Long time no see... I finally took the plunge and bought a Dooney Disney bag after seeing yours this winter!! Not the same, but I got a Tonal Mickey Champsac from a certified seller on ebay and got a great deal!! Not sure DH appreciated the envy.. oh well.

I am very envious of your upcomming trip!!! I could really use a Disney fix right about now. My growing Dooney collection helps some, but it's not quite enough.

Speaking of Disney trips and Dooney bags, I was thinking of asking you if you would maybe make a purchase for me when you go? If I can manage to save up enough, I am wanting one of the new princess design ones. I want a specific pattern on it though, so I don't want to order it by phone.
