I've been lurking on this thread for a few weeks,wanted to let you all know, was at DTD last night and Trends only has a couple of each design -behind the counter and the CM was not real friendly about letting me see the bags,went over th World of Disney- much better selection about a dozen or more of each design and the CMS were more patient -took me about 30-40 minutes to decide.
I'm glad I went to check them out, the picutes don't do the sizes justice. I had thought I wanted the tonal champ sac by the picture-but in reality it is really a very large purse. the 3 zipper tonal is quite small, ended up getting the black wonder barrel purse- perfect size for me-really wish they had the tonal in a barrel size.
You all were a big help in my decision-as I normally don't spend that kind of money on a purse- so I went in much more informed thanks- DIS BOARDS ROCK!!!! also saved 20% as I am a premium pass holder- thanks for making my Mother's Day Extra Special

Thanks for the update. My trip isn't until August and I'm getting pretty worried that they won't have any left. We arrive around 1PM on Aug 26 so we're spending the day in DTD rather than going to a park, I'll head to World of Disney first!!!!

My 16 yr old DD totally shocked me this morning with a Disney Dooney and Bourke Mickey Mouse Purse 3 Component!! Iwas going to get it when I go to WDW in Oct but now I have it! What a great gift!!

I am so excited For my Mother's Day, in one of my cards, was a picture of the Tan Champ collection and on the back of the picture was a note from my DH and both of my kids saying that I will be receiving the tote bag that I have been wanting the next time we are in Disney. The only down side is that I have to wait until September to get it. When we were in Disney in March my DH bought me the Tan Champ wallet as a Anniversary gift and since then I have been wanting the matching tote bag. I am so excited I can burst I love my family

I just got back from 10 days at the World. I went to all the theme park stores and DTD several times in search of Dooneys. Some of the CMs were really great about letting me look through their stock, others not so much. It really was random. I tried to be nice about asking, and only did so when the stores were slow. A few of the CMs even just offered to let me see what else they had without my asking. I got the impression that lots of people ask.

I came home with a whole bunch of new purses. I got the pink pouchette for my daughter. A blue pouchette and tan letter carrier for me. And a few sketch wristlets by request. Luckily for my DH the large style purses are just too large for me. I love how they look, but I just don't carry bags that big. I'm definately a small bag girl!

As for selection, all the stores had lots of bags. I did not see any of the first edition sketch anywhere. I also did not see any of the black wonder tassle tote all week. I did see every other current style of bag available somewhere in the parks, although all stores didn't have all the styles.

I am back from my DCL/WDW vacation and they had tons of the cruise purses every night I was on board. They are priced exactly the same as the white sketch in the parks. Believe it or not once I saw them in person, I wasn't as thrilled with them so I ended up not purchasing any. I know people are going to think I am crazy but I looked at them every single night and felt like I was trying to sell myself of them and I just couldn't. I will also say the placement on the bags gets very tricky on the smaller bags (wristlet and tassle tote) which is the style I planned on getting. I'd say if your cruising anytime in the next 6 months you'll be safe to get one.

At the parks and DTD (as of yesterday), they still how tons of all the styles everywhere. After having a week to look and debate about them all I think I am going with the blue Mickey satchel as my next bag and my 4 year old DD wants a the small pink Minnie bag. (Her purse addiction has started young ) Just thought I'd give everyone the update.

Hubby and kids got me the triple zip for Mother's Day!

Actually, it's still in Disney World, but was hand picked by a very good friend (and D&B lover) and is shipping it to me. She texted me 2 different pictures, and I just couldn't decided (I wanted a brown mickey right above the D&B logo). I told her to surprise me as I loved both. Can't wait to find out which one it is!!!

How long in between releases I know they have release the new DCL designs ( but those are available only on cruises so I'm hoping should I say praying for a new release soon ...

I thought I read on the Disney site that no new designs were being planned

I agree with you on the cruise bags....I have a coworker going next week and I had looked and looked at them and finally decided that I really don't LOVE it the way I LOVE my sketch bag....so am passing on it.

I just looked through the Disney Parks blog and noticed that the pink, blue and brown bags will be sold online. I didn't notice anything there about not having any new patterns...nothing positive either. I'd be bummed if there's nothing new coming.

They have the wonder barrel bag online now.

YEAH i will be bummed as well if theres nothing else! BUT i guess that means i will reconsider getting one of the blue/white or blue/pink bags!

From when I have talked to CM's in the parks and on the boat it sounds like they are expecting more to come. I couldn't imagine that this would be it either.

I finally had decided to get the Med Sketch and it was sold out on Disney shopping! I was so dissapointed. I wanted it so bad...this was my first Disney Dooney. I went on E-bay and finally, after spending $50 more plus shipping found the one I wanted. I was soooo excited! It was sent parcel post on May 3rd...I got a shipping notice on May 4th and there have been no updates whatsoever since May 5th when the package left Jacksonville! This was for my bd and that will be in a few days and I have a bad feeling that this purse is not coming! The estimated shipping time said 2 to 9 days, but I know it should have only been 6 days for the purse to get to me.

I called the post office in my area to see what they could tell me and they had no more info other than what is on the USPS tracking site. I paid through paypal so I "think" I am protected moneywise ( although I am not sure--I've never had anything from E-bay not get to me) but I want my Sketch bag!! I am sooo dissapointed but I don't know if I am getting upset too soon or for no reason yet.

Has anyone had experience with parcel post?? When do I notify paypal that I think there may be a problem. I guess I am wondering when I give up hope for my purse of getting to me! You have no idea...or maybe you do...of how upset I will be if I do not get my purse! I never really was inclined to spend all of that money on a Disney Dooney but this one really just got my attention and I loved loved it!
